About this property

Tar Bay's Hidden Treasure! "The place to be"

  • Villa Marjorie is located on Tar Bay at Silver Beach, George Town, Exuma, Bahamas. It has been completely remodeled and updated with brand new sliding doors that were installed in February 2020. She is a two bedroom and two bathroom beach house with central air conditioning, modern kitchen with new stainless steel Whirlpool appliances and granite counter tops, garbage disposal and fresh water filter. The living room and dining area is equipped with a 42 inch flat screen LG TV.

    Each bedroom has a 32 inch flat screen TV and is nicely appointed with dark wood furniture and enjoys incredible views of the sparkling turquoise waters. All rooms lead to the beach by way of their own 8ft. sliding glass doors that open onto a 10ft. by 37ft. covered balcony that is literally a few steps to the water. Villa Marjorie is an 8 minute drive East from George Town International Airport and 12 minutes West of downtown George Town, Exuma

Villa Marjorie is a special place..... Perfect location and perfect accommodations. Everything about the house was comforting and inviting. Such a cozy place. It was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked with kitchenware and the grill was the icing on the cake.... We used the grill almost every day of our week stay... The beds and linens were super comfortable and clean, smelled good. The back porch/deck with an eating table and lounge chairs are a perfect set up, no clutter.... every sliding door has access to the beach with spectacular views. You can lay in bed and watch the Sunrise. easy access to the beach, roughly 30 yards of easy sand. Our host was very quick to respond to the one question that I had about checking in. My only complaint is that we didn't stay long enough... We spent a few days sightseeing and driving around instead of just relaxing at the house.... Hopefully next year we will do 10 days instead of only 7............

Such a wonderful villa on an awesome beach. The villa was the perfect size for our group of 4 and with the beach and water as your backyard you couldn't ask for a better place to stay. The amenities were great and Jena was a very responsive host. Hope to come back again.

This is our 2nd time staying at Villa Marjorie and it wonā€™t be our last. Itā€™s in a great location and beautiful property. We had a hard time with the tv in the evenings and the beds need some attention but it wouldnā€™t stop us from going back.

Wow! What a wonderful home, directly on the beach. My husband and I enjoyed our 8th anniversary with a few surprises from Jena. Everything we needed in the kitchen, very comfy beds, and I have to mention the awesome reclining couch. Thank you, Jena, for an unforgettable get away. We will definitely book again.

A few days in paradise!

We loved being right on the amazing beach! The water was perfect the whole trip. The house had everything we needed and was a quick drive to restaurants in town when we wanted that.

House is as pictured online. We appreciated the beach views from the living atea and bedrooms. Location is close to the airport and convenient for traveling to north or south end of island. There are beach chairs, floaties, and beach toys available.

Nice stay

We had a nice stay in this location. Convenient to many beaches and a drive to the two extremes...Coco Plum and Tropic of Cancer but close to town and several other beaches. Well cared for place and have no complaints.

Great for what we needed!

I attended a wedding that was hosted on the same beach, so this rental was the perfect location. It is about 15 minutes from town which can get pricey if you take cabs, but the beachfront makes up for that. The host was super responsive throughout our stay, and we really enjoyed it!

You canā€™t beat this location for a vacation! House was very comfortable and clean. Right on the beach! Due to airline issues we missed most of our short getaway, only 2 nights and 1 full day. We already booked for next year. It had been a few years since we had gone to Exuma, this was our 5th trip.

Will stay again!

House was as advertised. Beach is about 30 feet from the door going to the beach, great setting and the outdoor furniture was a nice surprise, as it was way nicer than what was in the pictures. Have booked for next year!
