“We just returned from spending 19 nights at Villa Rumah Buka. From the online descriptions, we were anticipating a lovely holiday, but the actual experience greatly exceeded those anticipations.The first thing we need to say is just how wonderful the staff are!Wayan is a treat, always has a smile on her face. The meals she prepared for us were delicious. Over and above her normal duties, she was quick to help us with any arrangements we needed assistance with. We enjoyed the discussions we had……

“Our family of 5 had a fantastic stay at the villa, the location is amazing and we were greeted by a perfect Bali sunset over the immaculate gardens on day 1. The pool was also one of the best we have enjoyed and the beach access was a bonus, as was the local snorkelling. Dini took great care of us and arranged everything we could need like massages on site, trips and taxis. The chefs cooked us wonderful local cuisine each night, whatever we wanted, and also made us a hearty brunch to set us up……

“A beautiful house with a beautifully maintained garden and a fantastic pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Ketut, who spoiled us with delicious food and fulfilled our every wish. If you'd like to take some excursions locally, we highly recommend using the services of driver Gede. He drives very safely and can also tailor tours to your individual needs. There is a dark lava beach that, despite regular cleaning, is littered with trash. This didn't affect us, as we were aware……

“Nearly perfect stay,I only would recommend to add a remark in the house Booklet, that the outside Musik should be so loud,that the neigbour is not disturbed. Reason: the noise from the other house was really awfull”

“We had 3 weeks in Bali and our 5 night stay at Lata Lama was our top stay. All the staff were all so lovely, kind and very eager to help us in any way. The staff took great pride in their roles and the cleanliness of the entire place was 5 stars. Yummy breakfast. Did our washing, organized a scooter and massage for us. We will definitely return. Can't rate this place high enough, but it comes down to the people that work there. Also great location, very central for what we wanted to adventure……

“My family love this property. It’s a place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. The well curated garden with a good mix of low trees, bushes and flowers are to admire while swimming in the infinite pool. The house itself has fun features. I wish we used the billiard room more while playing Motown hits using the built in speakers. The best part are the attentive staff. They have a big heart so please be nice to all of them. Bring EU outlet adapters. Have fun!”

“ The guy who ran it was very nice and it wasn’t too far from a couple stores and a couple restaurants. It was just at night. There were some locals who bothered me, but it was OK because I’m an American and I understand.”
