「The house was absolutely amazing and exceeded expectations. We were able to stay and not have to worry about a single thing - linens and towels provided. Coffee and tea was made available, as well. The owner left notes on each floor as a guide - very helpful! I initially had trouble booking through Vrbo - but the owner was very helpful and prompt in reaching out! Definitely a wonderful spot to stay, right in downtown Sharpsburg - would highly recommend! 」

「Incredibly charming home in the perfect location. Me, my husband, and small dog spent hours on the deck, people watching, admiring the butterflies and the scenery, and drinking local wine from the cute store across the street. Just a minute's walk to restaurants and a cafe, with an amazing ice cream shop down the steps. The house was clean and the beds were super comfortable. Highly recommend. 」

「We had an amazing time! We were able to fully utilize the kitchen and grill to prepare meals throughout the whole weekend as the appliances worked and there was enough cooking ware for our needs. The bathrooms were clean and the hot tub was nice! The table games in the basement were fun to use too!Some of the doors were hard to fully close and/or lock. The lock box at the front door was finicky too. There was a broken step down to the river that should be fixed as it's currently a hazard」

「This is a beautiful home in a secluded neighborhood with access to the Potomac River. The house is about 10 minutes from all of the things you would want to do in the Harper’s Ferry Historic area. The house is furnished and decorated very nicely and the kitchen has everything you will need for preparing & serving meals. It is a very peaceful location with lots of deer and opportunities to relax. 」

「We truly enjoyed our week-long stay at the Lodge, nestled peacefully in the woods. The setting was calm, relaxing, and the house itself was clean and well-kept. Our favorite spot was the downstairs lounge, where we spent most of our time enjoying the games, television, and pool table. The lounge also opens out to the patio, perfect for evening bonfires under the stars. Loved it! Would definitely recommend and would love to come back again in the near future!」

「This property is a 10 Star I have been going to Berkley Springs for 20 years and it is the Best accommodation I have stayed in The house has been meticulously restored with beautiful furnishings and art work It is within walking distance of all Spas and restaurants .The host couldn’t be more accommodating We will be back!」

「The house is in a quiet area but very close to a lot of activities. It was an easy walk to the Bolivar Heights Battlefield site, and to other Harpers Ferry National Historical Park interest areas. Everything was well appointed. We very much enjoyed use of the hot tub. The host was very communicative. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. 」

「It was a great stay. No complaints! Great communication with the hosts before and during our stay. Very clean and just like the photos. The only comments not entirely positive (but worth noting because it was one of my deciding factors in booking this property) is that the hot tub was not clean enough for us to be comfortable using (it is in the woods and may have been pollen coming through the screens—but it was covered) and I think one of the queen sized mattresses does need to be replaced in...

「We loved our stay. This was the cleanest most well presented VRBO that we have ever rented. When we walked in, there was a personalized welcome sign and snacks! The neighborhood was very quiet and the owners were very responsive. We would absolutely rent here again. 」

「The outdoor spaces exceeded my expectations of the property. There is ample space on the deck, the yard is enjoable with the views and firepit, and the front porch rocking chairs are relaxing with a cup of coffee and litening to the gentle rain.Young adults enjoyed the game room. My only suggestion would be to replace mattress in 1st floor bedroom, it sinks a little. That is a small inconvenience considering that everything else was lively and the kitchen was well supplied with cooking tools.」

「Comfortable and right at the C&O trail, so easy to take lovely walks. The house is clean, the kitchen and dining spaces more than adequate, multiple common areas are nice, as are bedrooms. Minor issue in that it seems the visitors before us made the remote for the downstairs tv disappear. Connection via phone, text etc can be spotty unless you're on the houses wifi, which worked well.」
