Carpet and bedding in the room was quite wet. Room had a smell to it. Found stains on the bedding. The lady in the office was very nice. Won't book it again

The rooms were so dirty dead bugs laying pot hanging the room smells like mold because the air conditioner was full of mold the toilet seat was to big for the toilet I worked at a motel if my rooms ever looked like these I would have been fired! I can’t believe that nobody has checked all this out and close it down the mold will make you sick!

I’ve stayed at plenty of older motels that need renovations, but overall we’re clean. The Colton Motel however is beyond dirty. Rooms smell of cigarettes and mold. Pretty sure they never clean anything. Had to cut my stay short and book another hotel, it was that bad. If visiting Gettysburg, stay away from this place!

I love the area this motel is in, and it is convenient to walk to a brewery, the Dobbin house, a coffee shop, and tourist attractions. The motel does need a makeover; however, I am aware the hotel business is still trying to recover from COVID.

The location is good. The bedding & bathroom seemed clean, but the room itself was not. There was a dead beetle along the wall & the mini frig had spillage that needed cleaning, we didnt look any further than that. The location also appears to rent by the month.

All rooms were labeled non smoking. The problem is that there were folks who were smoking just outside the room and the door seal was not tight so for individuals who are highly sensitive it is just as bad as being in a smoking room. When there is a can with cig butts just outside door it is clear that room in reality is not a non smoking room. Curtains were pretty ratty with several holes, TP holder was missing the rod, just essential areas had been cleaned toilet and bed. Ceiling and walls a little scary thank god didn't need ac unit pretty dirty. At least bed and toilet were clean and I was only sleeping there. Room and on line pics definitely not the same. But that being said I guess I got what I paid for. Should not have had high expectations.

I have stayed at the Colton Motel on several occasions. It is an older Motel, but they do keep it very clean, and everything works as it should. I feel safe there and you are able to walk to many attractions in Gettysburg along Steinwehr Ave. There are several dining options nearby, which make it an ideal place to stay.

This motel is an older facility, but it is well taken care of, and clean. The staff was polite and helped with every request we made. There are many places within walking distance along Steinwehr Ave.
