The Hamlet 1 Holiday Home

  • Discover a spacious and comfortable rural retreat nestled in L-Għasri, perfect for families, couples, and friend groups seeking a tranquil Maltese getaway. This expansive 190 square metre property offers an ideal blend of modern amenities and serene countryside living.



    The accommodation features three well-appointed bedrooms with 5 comfortable beds, including a double bed, a folding bed, and four individual beds. Four meticulously designed bathrooms ensure ample space and convenience, with two shower rooms, one bathtub/shower, and a separate toilet.



    The heart of the home is the fully equipped American-style kitchen, featuring modern appliances including a gas stove, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, and comprehensive kitchenware. Two televisions with full list of channels provide entertainment for all guests.



    Enjoy exceptional comfort with central floor heating in winter, and air conditioning during summer, ensuring a pleasant environment year-round. The property boasts a private entrance and additional indoor amenities include a fireplace, iron, smoke detector, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Wir haben die Unterkunft und den Pool sehr genossen. Wir hatten eine tolle Betreuung durch die Vermieterin. Heizung und Klimaanlage brauchten wir wetterbedingt nicht. Wir können das Ferienhaus nur weiterempfehlen.

Would have loved to stay longer.

The villa is in an excellent location just across the valley from Gharb, where you can find some great restaurants. The outside dining area was perfect for watching the sun set over the sea. The villa is spacious, and well laid out, and the pool, although not huge, was perfect for our stay. This is my second stay with Baron Holidays, and I would not hesitate to use them again. The air con units in a couple of the bedrooms were a little temperamental.

Great Holiday at Hamlet 1 Holiday Home, Ghasri.

For the second year running we chose a Baron Holiday Home property and we certainly were not disappointed. The Hamlet 1 Holiday Home situated a short distance from Ta' Pinu on the Ghasri road was a perfect location for our holiday. Large, comfortable with a decent sized pool, we had a brilliant time. The sunsets viewed from the house were simply stunning. Baron provide great service from start to finish with contact via WhatsApp and are on hand if you need anything. We have been very impressed with their services on both occasions and would not hesitate to recommend both the company and their properties. Nothing.

Comfortable property with great facilities in a tranquil location and

Location, facilities, layout Suggest fitting a blackout blind in the main living area (similar to the kitchen area) since space becomes unbearably hot it in afternoon with the sunlight and sadly cannot be enjoyed. Thank you for changing the dishwasher that now works well.

Lovely property, wonderful outlook to sea BUT.....

This is a lovely property without doubt, but there are issues to consider. Firstly, there were a few maintenance issues: lounge furniture grubby and worn, hot water temperature inadequate on arrival, fixed within 2 days, but reoccurred for final 3 days; iron broken and iron board cover worn through (both very quickly replaced). Secondly, the communal gym is below the ground floor of this property and you are likely to hear the thumping of gym equipment in use and shouts/grunts or music of users. We experienced loud music coming through the walls from next door; this was turned down once they finally heard our knocking on their front door! The property 2 along was occupied by a group of college-age people who played music, shouted, sang and were generally inconsiderate to others in neighbouring properties; fortunately they left after about 3 days. So, if you are looking for a quiet, relaxed stay at this property you may not get it. The pool was very clean and well maintained and the water was still warm enough in final 2 weeks of September to enjoy more than just a quick plunge. There were several good restaurants within a few minutes’ drive, or you could walk if you prefer. The location is very convenient to anywhere on the island, nowhere is very far away.

Lovely villa too much out of the way

Loved the pool, the privacy the accommodation was superb apart from air con broke down last wkend of break and had to change rooms. The locals are so friendly and when no bus arrived the locals arranged a lift to local feast and thoroughly thought this was really out of the way for them. So friendly and obliging. Too much out of the way regarding restaurants and supermarkets. Not enough towels per couple as 8 days without change even though their was a washing machine. Considering the distance to amenities it is fairly out of the way unless you rent a vehicle. Slightly, basic for area. Villa lovely, cleanliness ok, could do with maid service twice per week. Should be non smoking as some cupboards were smelling of old tobacco. Villa Hamlet 2 was noisy with 2 dogs barking, and even though it does state too much noise is not permitted there was nothing Baron could do about the noise. A courtesy car would be advantages considering the distance to local amenities. Bus is regular on occasions but check with feasts in area. Having a receptionist outside the accommodation would be most advantageous, even if it's for a couple of hours per day. Arranging transfers, arranging tours would be totally life changing in that area.

Comfortable and Clean

Loved the cleanliness and easily movable furntiure for yoga :) There was a sewage smell coming out of a drain in the bedroom on the left and there was a lot of water leakage throughout when it rained
