「Cute apartment, clean and with air conditioning, and good location. Our only issue was with check-in. There is a common lockbox and after 7 hours of train delays, we arrived in the dark of night to find there wasn’t a key for us. Because of that, I see potential problem for renting during cold months. 「We had a great time in Ghent. The location was great. We were able to see all the sights and come back to the room to rest and go back out again. Like others have said, the stairs are narrow and we were on the third floor so getting our luggage up was somewhat difficult but we brought small bags so not too bad for us. The coffee shop downstairs was convenient and good. We enjoyed our stay in Ghent very much.」

「The apartment was quite very good. However, it bothered us that we had no way to hang towels in the bathroom. A towel was also not completely clean. Unfortunately, some things were missing in the kitchen.We went with adults, but in our opinion the apartment is not well suited for smaller children. The stairs are very steep and very narrow. Communication with the host was very good and very friendly.」

「1- Very DECEIVING- listed as “entire apartment” but the listing “Trendy Apt” changed online to “Trendy Room” when we arrived to check in. 2- the check in form would not open so we could not access check in information = stressful. 3- Internet signal is v weak/ nonexistent so that wifi access is really only available by standing inside by front door. 4- amenities are shared ie kitchen but listing never admits this. 5 - Host sent messages ie re leaving property tax but the messages wouldn’t open...

「First off, be warned there is no bed! There’s a horribly uncomfortable pull out sofa bed thing with insufficient (and filthy) bedding. The windows have been crudely painted over but the paint is flaking and covers your hands if you try to open the windows. The stairs are dangerously shallow - be very careful if bringing luggage or if you have any mobility issues. Towels were stained, water pressure practically non-existent, the toilet loudly drip fills for about 20 minutes after every flush....
