Very centrally located in the old city near the Vrijdagmarkt. The host Nele was quite amenable to any questions or concerns I had. The room was very clearn and comfortable (though the bathroom was a bit small). Very handy to have a kitchenette.

An excellent apartment both in location and cleanliness. A small but very useful kitchen and good sized refrigerator made the stay very easy. Ghent is a city undergoing a lot of building and street rehabilitation so be prepared for the early morning construction sounds. However, the apartment is pretty quiet. A great choice.

This corner studio apartment is located on the top (3rd) floor of a clean and well maintained building. It is a 2 minute walk to the main square and is on a quiet square. The apartment has a full kitchen and a very large, private terrace. There is no lift/elevator but the walk up the ~50 fairly steep and narrow stairs is worth the effort. Parking is in a public lot under the main square (~30 Euros/24 hour period) and is a short walk from the apartment. We would recommend this apartment for 2 people who want space to spread out, be near the main square and like to sit on a nice terrace after a day of sightseeing.

Weekend break in Gent

Property is in a great location just behind the Vrijdagmarkt a vibrant square which is a short walk to the main square with St Nicholas Church, the Cathedral and the Belfry. An underground car park is just around the corner where you can park as long as you like for a fee. The apartment was well designed to make the most of the space, comfortable, clean & tidy. I would recommend if staying in Gent.

Parking is optional and an additional cost and must be requested immediately from the property management after reservation. The location is strategically located inside the city. The rooms are not cleaned on a daily basis as these are fully functional studios with complete kitchen and tools and not a hotel.

The apartment was very nice with a fantastic porch / balcony for sitting outside and enjoying both the sun and shade. The only issue I had was with the TV. there was no where to sit comfortable to watch the TV from the living room or the bed.

Only view is of the car park

I chose this place based upon location and particularly the picture that shows a beautiful night view from the property. While our stay was comfortable and the photos of the rooms are accurate there was no view of anything from any of the rooms which amounts to false advertising. It was interesting to note that the properties website does not show the night scene photo or that of the cathedral so I have to wonder why the hotels.com show them?? I posted the photos of our room but good old hotels.com refused to post them.

Excellent location.Being Sub street level resulted in noise from passing footfall and traffic. Apartment very clean and the filter coffee was a bonus. Points for charging mobile devices not particularly well placed and bed & sofa very low. Although bathroom had new fittings you had to squeeze past the sink unit to access the shower. Perhaps a smaller sink unit would help. Surprised that to pay by credit card you had to be sent a link by the proprietor as there was no facility to pay at the accommodation. Perhaps that could be made clear at the time of booking as I certainly would then have paid in advance.

L'hôte n'alerte pas les visiteurs de passage de l'existence d'une low-emission zone qui entraine une verbalisation élevée en cas d'absence de demande préalable d'autre part, le studio n°1 est en partie en sous-sol et donne directement sur les pavés d'une rue passante avec un niveau d'insonorisation des fenêtres inadapté dans ces conditions et insuffisant Enfin, Expedia, bien qu'exigeant de renseigner l'âge des enfants accompagnateurs, ne transmet pas l'information aux propriétaires qui demandent ensuite un supplément pour l'installation d'un lit pour non bébé (>1 an)

Absolutely amazing. Super comfortable room, warm, nice view, clean, spacious, and perfectly located - 5 minute walk to the nearest square full of restaurants, stores and even supermarket. I would definitely come back next time.
