Very unique property that was restored while respecting the original building. Our room was on 2 floors - toilet and minibar on lower floor, bed sink and shower on upper - not really functional. Bar was fun and location in historical section make it easy to explore.

We did not like the shower and sink on the 2nd floor of our hotel room. If you used the toilet you had to go upstairs to wash your hands. Room was tight!!! But so beautiful!! Bed was hard. Perfect location!

If you are looking for charm this is the place to stay. We stayed in the newly renovated part of the building and was just amazed at the decor. You walk right out the door on the main canal. If you are driving and using google map very hard to find, because of the canal and it being below the street. The front desk young men was just so helpful and friendly. Would stay there again just perfect.

Fantastic hotel. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable and had air conditioning. The cocktails, in the bar, were great and the buffet breakfast was delicious. A gorgeous hotel, situated perfectly in the old part of Ghent, with secure parking not far away.
