“The biggest issue that I had was the information that I received about the bus was totally misleading . It says there is a bus down the street… it’s a 10-15 min walk. Oh and it only comes 2-3 times a day and forget about getting back there on the bus. So 1/2 of us came unprepared to rent a car. You must have a car unless you don’t plan on leaving. I can tell you a cab will come and pick you up, the one way trip to Santa Maria Novella is @ 70-80 euro per cab. We could fit 4-6 people and the fee……

“Wir hatten eine tolle Woche bei Claudia. Die Kinder wollten gar nicht mehr heim. Ideal für Menschen, die die Ruhe suchen und viel Zeit miteinander verbringen wollen. Ausflüge waren machbar, wir haben die Fahrten durch die Landschaft mit wenig Verkehr sehr genossen. Im Dorf kann man toll essen und wir waren täglich bei Anna im Cafe”

“Wir waren 4 Nächte im Apartment und nutzen es als Basis zur Erkundung der näheren Umgebung. Die Gastgeber waren sehr liebenswert, wir konnten den hauseigenen Garten mit Pavillion und Außenpool nutzen. Der Parkplatz mit elektrischem Tor war sehr gut. Besonders gefallen hat uns das Ausklingen des Tages im Pavillion.”

“Beautiful castle that would be so much more enjoyable with just a few changes. Windows need to be able to attach to shutters so will stay open and not blow closed with wind. Basic items such as toilet paper, seasonings for cooking, more comfortable twin mattress, ability to order basic meals at restaurant if wanted. ”

“The place is in the middle of a huge green area, ideal for those who want peace and quiet location. We were in group of 19 and there was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. Marco, the owner, is very attentive to all details and always around to help. House ammenities were a plus for those rainy days when we could not visit sorrounding Tuscan cities.”
