This modern penthouse room suite located right in the heart of town is the perfect destination for couples or friends staying in Gibraltar on a short-term stay.

Gibraltar’s popular coffee shops, restaurants and bustling Main Street shopping area are also right at its doorstep.

It is located on the top 5th floor of the Grand Central House building on Engineer Lane, which recently won a Heritage Award for the restoration/ refurbishment of this 19th Century building.

Excellent communication prior to checkout and throughout, with check in instructions, code to keybox and WiFi password all provided. Room tidy and extremely functional incl. hair dryer, steamer/iron, bathroom with towels and all toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities (limited milk and no fridge though). Main issue was that it was not possible to leave our luggage anywhere beyond 3pm, which is kind of a problem if you're making a 1-day flying visit to Gibraltar as we did.

The building itself is very lovely. The terrace is large than the actual room. The trolly with dishes seemed dirty/rusty. The glasses were not cleaned well. The bed and pillows are not very comfortable. The view is nice. Tons of birds (noisy) bird poop on the terrace makes it not super nice to sit outside.

Great comms by the management company - a nicely refurbished small apartment with a well appointed large terrace. Perhaps a squeeze for two persons, fine for one. Super quiet location just off the main commercial thoroughfare. Very clean inside and outside and well equipped.
