“It was a quiet neighborhood and an older house that has been taken care of. I booked this property because of how close it was to the fairgrounds. I had three students that had a competition located there. One student found trash from KFC on the floor in one bedroom. That’s not a giant deal breaker for me however, if you wanted to take a hot shower, you was not able to do so. The water pressure on the hot side was so low that when you pull up on the piece to engage the shower, it would just……

“Host was very accommodating and flexible as we had to change our dates a little. While the kitchen was well stocked with cookware it was very used and in questionable condition. The house as a whole was extremely well stocked with towels, tissues, garbage bags etc. The blankets in the L.R. were not clean, literally smelled like someone used them to wipe after going to the bathroom. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood close to a lot of stores, restaurants etc.”

“The house was clean and neat, inside and outside. However, the photos and description did not accurately portray the neighborhood. We never felt unsafe or concerned, but the neighborhood was not as "nice" as implied. I would stay there again, but with different expectations. Things that would make this property and experience better: 1) Really need to repair/replace the exhaust fan in the hall bathroom. It will soon destroy itself. 2) Door knob in master-bathroom is slipping and extremely……

“Great communication with the host. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and there was a generous supply of towels in the bathroom. This is a great location for walking to restaurants and the riverwalk. Highly recommend.”

“We stayed here as part of our transition to Fort Jackson. The neighborhood was very quiet and friendly, made for nice evening walks. While small the cottage was very cozy and felt like home for our extended stay while we waited to close on our home. Thankful for the opportunity to stay! ”
