"The property was fine. Not too many things around but it was easy enough to catch a cab (cheap) and go into town. I tried to communicate with the owner and the caretaker about airline changing our flight and arriving two hours earlier than the first plan. I texted and call both parties but couldn't get through. "We had a lovely stay at the Sheraton. It’s at the quiet end of senggigi but easily walkable to get to other restaurants and shops in the village. The beach off the hotel is pretty, and the sea is nice but it’s quite a busy ocean area with jet skis and boats, but it’s charming and not noisy at all. The staff are all lovely and breakfast is great. Excellent pianist playing each morning too. The rooms are not new but they’re good size and everything works and is comfortable. The gym is decent too, and the swimming pool is incredible. Lovely place- would recommend it and will come back I’m sure. "

"Endroit sympa pour deux jours. La maison est jolie mais les infrastructures sont un peu vétustes. Personnel gentil mais un peu dépassé par les divers problèmes. Restaurant sur place pour les repas du soir fermé et pour les autres repas la majorité des plats à la carte non disponibles. Fuite d’eau dans la salle de bains. Nous avons vu un rat dans la chambre et le réceptionniste n’a pas proposé d’autres solutions que de retirer le thé et les sachets de sucre de la chambre. Enfin nous avons perdu une clé de chambre et la réception n’avait pas de double. Ils nous ont installé un matelas au sol sans moustiquaire dans une des chambres et nous ont fait payer le changement de serrure. Points positifs : organisation des activités et transferts sans problème et bon petit déjeuner. "

"My wife and I stayed for a week during our honeymoon and were made to feel so welcome. Everyone was so lovely and kind. We appreciated all the ways that they made our honeymoon feel extra special! We managed to enjoy relaxation and adventure in equal parts, including surfing directly in front of the hotel and snorkelling at the North Gilis with a boat also taking us directly from the hotel. We really enjoyed the Indonesian cooking class offered by the hotel and found the themed nights at the restaurant, particularly the flavours of the archipelago, extremely satisfying. Overall could not imagine our honeymoon anywhere else, thank you so much to the entire team that made it so special!"

"A Hidden Gem in Lombok – Unforgettable Stay at Kalandara Resort Kalandara Resort is truly a slice of paradise in Lombok. The breathtaking view of the sea from the resort is simply magnificent – the perfect setting for a peaceful and luxurious getaway. The villa was impeccably clean, offering complete privacy, especially with the private pool and spacious layout. We especially loved the large bathtub – a perfect touch of indulgence! The food was a delightful highlight – a wonderful mix of traditional Indonesian flavours and an international selection including Japanese and Turkish cuisine. We also enjoyed the refreshing jamu served during our stay – a lovely cultural experience. What truly made our stay memorable was the exceptional service. Every staff member went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. A special shout-out to Wulan, Wulan Meiyi, Olivia, Wina, Najwa, and our kind and reliable drivers Ahyar and Emi – thank you for your warmth and hospitality. The transfers to and from the airport were smooth and comfortable, adding to the overall ease of the experience. "Stayed for 5 nights. The receptionist who helped us checked in was very nice. Ahe also recommended to rent a motorcycle so we can explore anytime we wanted to go out. Without the motorbike, I dont think we would have seen Lombok's natural beauty and its villages. Our overall experience was unforgettable. Thank you!"
