「Fantstic house in the gorgeous Caporotono area close to Pisticci, 25 minutes from the beach. The accomodation exists of a main house (kitchen, living room, master bedroom) and two smaller units (both double bedrooms with their own entrance and private bathroom). 「Our host Pietro was very welcoming and provided us with lots of information. The accommodation was clean and provided lots of room for 5 ladies (thankful for 2 bathrooms). Location was perfect, within walking distance of the old town of Matera. Lots of privacy and parking available. If we ever get back to the enchanting city of Matera would definitely stay here again.」

「Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr schön, leider stört der ständige Autolärm der direkt am Haus vorbei führenden Schnellstraße. Die Spielgeräten für die Kinder im Garten sind leider sehr ungepflegt und teilweise defekt, sogar sehr gefährlich für die Kinder. Was uns aber wirklich sehr gestört hat sind die Bäder, leider konnten wir aufgrund starker Geruchsbelästigung ein Bad überhaupt nicht benutzen und bei zwei anderen Bädern kam nur sehr spärlich Wasser an der Dusche, ein angenehmes Duschen war leider...

「The apartment has an excellent location quite near the historic center of Matera and within walking distance of the Sassi. But the highlight for us was wonderful Pietro, the owner. Not only had he stocked the refrigerator and cupboard with goodies, but he also arranged an emergency dental appointment for my husband, drove us there, and acted as our interpreter. During our stay and afterwards, he checked up on us to see how my husband was doing, and he told us not to worry about anything...

Kitchen could be better equipped if you plan on cooking. Montescagliosa is a charming mountain town and a nice change from nearby towns with more tourists than locals walking the cobbled streets.」

「Séjour très agréable, la résidence est magnifique et très bien entretenue. L'appartement dispo d'une terrasse couverte qui devient une vraie pièce de vie en été car protégée de la chaleur. Marina di Pisticci est au calme et assez proche des endroits à visiter (2h de route max). La seule difficulté pour nous qui ne parlons pas italien a été la communication car nous avons croisé très peu de gens capables de comprendre et/ou parler une autre langue que l'italien.」
