"Our trip to Iceland was wonderful, and the River House was a beyond perfect base for adventures in the south. The hosts were thoughtful, communicative and easy to work with. The house had all of the things we needed, and tons we didn't! Our kids were thrilled with the chickens, horses, playset and games... we loved the view and beautiful, secluded location!A lovely visit! We would highly recommend."
"Anything this location lacks in luxury is made up for in the solitude and peacefulness of the property. The Private hot tub overlooking a horse and sheep pasture was a great addition. Visually isolated from the road and from all other nearby properties. About 10km outside of town gets you away from the other tourists. GPS did get us close, but the communications and directions provided by the host before our stay were clear and got us right to the property. This was our favorite stay in our 2 weeks in Iceland."
