"Loved the breakfast buffet: cheeses, deli meat, eggs, bacon, assortment of pastries, as well as cereal and pancakes 😋 Friendly and helpful staff. The young lady at the front desk from the Czech Republic- wish I gotten her name- was very nice and helpful( she fixed my black-out shades🙏), as well as the young ladies in the restaurant. Having the gas pump on site is also very nice -diesel and Bensin. There was also a park ranger there at ~8:30 - 9 am to help with questions regarding the roads in the Highlands."

"Such a unique stay! We enjoyed our time here. We stayed in the family cabin and it's a bit tight for 4 people but made it work. This place would be stunning during the northern lights. It's remote and quiet and exactly what we wanted."

"Love Freya Farm! Unbelievably beautiful view right outside our door: green expanse, river, and mountains in the distance. Great breakfast, comfortable bed, clean room. This was the nicest--and least expensive--place we stayed at in Iceland. It is situated on a working farm run by a lovely young couple--not like staying in a hotel run by some corporation. Jon is warm and genuine, and a great conversationalist to boot. He even took us for a hike on his land which was spectacular. The Icelandic horses are so lovely. Highly recommend!"
