"Good communication from host prior to trip, ease of entry, house well stocked, with all the amenities a person could possibly wish for to cook, play games and spend time with family. Black Butte Ranch was a great place with multiple swimming pools & hot tubs to choose from (even on New Year's Day) as the hot tub at the house was temporarily out of order. I would say the house could have used a "deep clean" as some surfaces were quite dusty and there were some cobwebs building up, but otherwise it was comfy and homey. Hoodoo and other places for snow activities are not far at all, and we even found a small hill just behind the house for the kids to sled on! Thanks for a lovely stay :)"

"Brought a party of 10 to enjoy a Christmastime mountain retreat. This house was so spacious! The bunk room was great for the kids, and the private hot tub was enjoyed by all. Would bring the extended family back in the future. "

"If you're looking for a place to have a family reunion, vacation or simply time away, we found this home to be a perfect spot. Our children and grandchildren have always wanted to have a family Thanksgiving away from home and this was the perfect home and place. Kara was responsive, helpful and made it easy for us. The home had everything for both the adults and for the children. What impressed us was how clean and easy everything was. A BIG plus was the hot tub and sauna. Overall, we had great time, and many memories were made."

"Walking paths are very nice. Needs some work. Front door knob needs replace. Lot of work to open. Post with house number knocked over so needs to be put back up or removed. One chair in dining room missing arm could be a safety hazard. But nothing that would keep me from renting again. "
