「The room was lovely and spotless. The grounds are beautiful. Judy does a delicious breakfast! She was very friendly and chatted a bit, which I appreciated since I was the only guest at the table.」

「Location was great with a lot of shops and restaurants near by. Just under a 20 minute drive from downtown Richmond so I was able to enjoy a quality hotel for a more reasonable rate and parking included. The room was clean, minimal wear and tear, and a friendly staff. They were more than happy to provide extra bottles of water. Would definitely recommend for travelers of all types. 」

「The room was inviting with the old fireplace (not operable) and the quotes from Edgar Allen Poe. The bathroom was spacious and the water was hot! The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The gentleman at reception was very personable, Our stay was a very pleasant experience. 」

「Thomas at the Front Desk was great and friendly! Jeannette in the dining room was very attentive to my requests. The Bartender was fast and attentive as well, even through the rush of patrons! Overall, I had a great stay! The team work is very evident, and you can tell that staff enjoyed their job! The hospitality was great and I will definitely book another stay there in the future!」
