「We had a lovely stay at this property, and found the staff to be very polite and helpful. While the property is under renovation, we were out from 9am-5pm daily and didn’t hear any construction noise during our stay. The property is certainly older and needs the renovation. The pool is closed while they are renovating. The breakfast was quite nice with a variety of options. One note is that I’m not sure the heat was working properly because it was cold every night. Even though we had the heat on...

「This was a clean, quiet, convenient property to stay at with good access to the entrance to Shenandoah. The owner was welcoming and the property well cared for. I appreciated the refrigerator and microwave in the room, and the ice in the front office. This is a good value choice in Front Royal.」

「Bare bones, but perfectly adequate hotel if you just want a bed, a hot shower and a little TV (didn’t check the WIFI, but Verizon worked fine in the room anyway). Easy parking, friendly front desk person. I’d stay again. (Fridge and microwave were also handy). 」

Mary and Jay were incredibly welcoming hosts who clearly love their animals, and are eager to share their experience with them if you are interested. Incredibly, almost all of the animals on their farm - cats, dogs, mini donkey, horses, and one of the alpacas - loved being petted. The location is beautiful, private, and peaceful. Grateful for their hospitality.」
