“Despite our uncertainty upon our arrival of where the building was that we were staying in, this was such a beautiful place to stay. The location was ideal for some great site seeing and to relax with some down days midway through our vacation. Finola was a fantastic hostess and very accommodating. We can’t wait to stay there again.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Cortoon Inn! Orla was incredibly accommodating and the Inn itself was warm, nicely decorated, and clean. You can tell a lot of love has gone into this place! The room was spacious, and we had a lovely wibdow overlooking the church next door. The shared facilities (kitchen, bathrooms) were all very well kept as well. The attached was another big win. We felt very welcomed the moment we walked in and the warm atmosphere was perfect to end our nights. The pizza was……

“We wanted to stay near Galway but away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Staying at Lisdonagh House was a dream come true! We had a “home away from home” surrounded by gorgeous views and just 20 miles away from the city. We stayed in “Inisfree”…one of the carriage house apartments. Filled with lovely antique furniture and art and beautifully decorated. We stayed for a week and we looked forward to returning “home” at the end of each day of sight seeing. I hope we are able to visit……

“Our hosts were wonderful. Aiden was so personable and a wealth of information. We didn’t see Joyce so much, but her work in the kitchen was exceptional. I tried the yoga room (like no other!) but there wasn’t a class while I was there. The grounds are beautiful”

“Lovely property, nicely secluded. Comfortable, cosy cottage with modern conveniences (WiFi, television, microwave). Caretaker Eileen was very helpful (including enquiring among the locals if they knew any family history to help my genealogy research. An adorable book has been compiled by the owner’s family outline the history of the cottage.”

It is conveniently located next to groceries and across from Thompson’s Pub, and is a two minute walk to the bus stop with a direct line to Galway. This home is located in the beautiful serene countryside with breathtaking views. Our hosts were readily available and very accommodating, helpful with directions and ideas for Ireland adventures.
