"Great little getaway! If you’re looking for a quiet relaxing weekend this is definitely it. Pictures don’t do this place justice, and everything is extremely well taken care of and maintained. Make sure to bring your fishing pole and swimming gear, the clean pond is ideal for both. Traveled here with my wife and our two boys, 10yo and 5mo, and it was just right for us. We’ll be back, thanks for an amazing stay!"

"Excellent place to stay to explore the eastern portion of the Shawnee National Forest. We used it as a launching point to see the Garden of the Gods, Cave in Rock, and Dixon Springs State Park. Wish we had another day to do more exploring. The cabin is secluded, so stock up on groceries and charcoal for the grill before you arrive. Kitchen was well stocked with pans and utensils that made cooking meals easy. It was comfortable, clean and peaceful. I will definitely stay there again the...

"Very rustic but lots of amenities. We had a problem checking in but Jack was able to help us out despite it being 10pm. The dogs on the property were very friendly and met our dogs. Fairly priced. However, the bed is incredibly old and the bedframe is rickety, making it impossible to get comfortable. Everything else was great!"

"We always love staying with Drury hotels. You cannot beat the value, you get nice and clean rooms, free drinks, two free meals, and comfortable sleep. I just hate the “energy saving” feature with the air conditioner. It was so hot this weekend, we checked into our room and turned the air down to cool it off, we walked next door and had dinner because it was VERY busy at the dining area at the hotel. When we returned to our room it hadn’t cooled off at all because of the energy saving feature, the thermostat reset itself. It was so hot outside, it would have been nice to be able to cool off and relax in our room but that wasn’t possible, even while sleeping it was too warm in our room, never getting below 73. I just believe with the price we pay for the room, we should at least be able to make ourselves comfortable in our room."

"The food, the service, and cleanliness of the hotel were the highlights of our stay. However, there were some small details that could use some improvement. For example, the Kleenex dispenser was almost empty upon arrival and so we went through those quickly. In addition, sleeping was a little difficult due to the noise of the air conditioner."
