"I kinda want to gatekeep this place but they really were that amazing. I did not have a plan for Iceland, I just landed there and asked front desk to help me book some tours. Thor (yup that’s his name) helped me book the best tours and gave me some great recommendations. Everyone from the reception to service was very nice. The hotel is right by the lake, and is perfect if you want to be a little further away from the center but still be close. The breakfast is absolutely amazing. I’d book this hotel again in a heartbeat."

"The breakfast was great! And having the bar and soup available in the evening was very handy. The staff help with any Question we had. The one thing we missed. We like tea in the evening and there was no hot water. We brought our own tea. So along with the coffee that was always there a pot of hot water would be nice. I will stay there any time I go to Iceland"

"I liked the view from the 13th floor and that’s why I chose the hotel - the views. So I’m happy with that aspect of the hotel. The rest was generically okay. Fine, forgettable in a non-distinct area, but close to the city center of Reykjavik which is a cute and a colorful capital in this fascinating country."
