Staff was very kind and friendly, check in and out was so fast and easy. The hotel room we had was sadly not in a nice area of the hotel and with kids that was very disappointing, our room was dirty from the last people and the bathroom needed some maintenance.

Couldn’t get hairdryer out of drawer because the door trim was preventing the door from opening. Broken toilet seat, had to switch rooms. Second room was FILTHY! Mirrors dirty, toothpaste marks on the one in bathroom. Actual dirty footprints on floor in bathroom. Dead bugs in windows. No one around during checkout. Was expecting a lot more for the price.

A bit dated but everything worked fine. Staff were friendly and helpful. It’s just down the hill from Golden Skybridge and a short drive away from Kicking Horse resort if you want to do some mountain biking. It’s good if you’re on a budget. Thin walls though and the ac can be noisy so beware if you’re a light sleeper. Tip: eat at the Indian next door. You won’t regret it.

There is limited parking. We went for dinner and had to park next to the restaurant because they have limited parking. We came back to our room at 10:15 pm. The smoke alarm was beeping because it needed a new battery. I phoned the front desk and the front desk manager told me that I could wait until 11pm or change it myself. They phoned us back within 5 minutes telling us that need to change rooms. The next room is fine but the a/c unit is cheap and loud. Also, the bathroom had hair on the shower wall and floor. The second time we phoned the front desk they told us that we are not polite and that it’s our problem. My wife and I have stayed at many hotels all around Alberta and BC and this is my worst experience. Do not stay here.

The hotel rooms and decor are minimum. Rooms were clean. The property is located next to a very nice Indian restaurant, Indian Kitchen which I will recommend giving a try.

Overall good experience but had our group mentioned one issue with the Shower faucet which are almost either broken or loosen which can control the hot and cold water during bath but the hotel staff immediately giving the another room where the shower faucet was loose but in working condition. Otherwise the location of the hotel with very good dining options makes our trip very pleasant overall within our group.

No extra amenities, swimming pool was out of service as well. AC is so old and loud, couldn’t keep it on. Mosquitoes in the room and even had to get drinking water from the restaurant and not lobby of the lodge. Not a pleasant stay overall. The view is the only good thing about this place.
