「Was not what was advertised. Ended up paying for a place we didn’t stay. We spent less than 2 hours there. Couches were covered in dog hair, place is not “secluded”, it’s in a neighborhood that isn’t very attractive and fire pit is in the front yard. Very disappointing.」

「The property was just as described. More than enough room for our entire family of eight. Beds were clean well-made lots of fresh towels. The main bathroom was enormous. The back porch was wonderful for hanging out at night. It was exactly what our family needed for our mini vacation.」

「The cabin is great and we had a good time. I was a little dissatisfied with the cleanliness, found a few potato chips on the stairs and on the rug. We have a small toddler, so I don’t like loose trash, especially other people’s! Other than that, the house was nice and warm and welcoming. 」

「Clean, well kept property. Even with neighbors, the cabin still offers good privacy and good location to area marinas for boat rentals. If I brought a boat it would have been tough to park on the property. But, the owner was great to work with and had an accurate description of what to expect. Overall, perfect size for a father-son boys’ trip for pre-teen/teenagers who like a short hike to the water for some fishing and short drive for boating.」

「The description of the property indicated we could access the water but the places we saw were not access friendly. Also letting the renters know how remote and far away everything was. 40 minute drive for groceries was a little far. Perfect place if you just want to stay in and look at the water. Not great if you want to do water activities.」

「Excellent locations. Bigger than it appears or posted. Restaurant on site was excellent great salad bar food all around was great.」

「The staff was very helpful」

「Check in was odd. No one was available so had to call and got texted the room # and door code. Small issue with curtains off track, but got corrected quickly. The room was clean and nicely renovated. Outside doesn't give the same nice vibe. Quiet at night. The bed is the foam kind, so feels like sink into hole. Not to my liking, but others may like that style of bed. Overall satisfied with the stay.」

「The owners were very accommodating and easy to talk to. They went above and beyond to make our stay great!」

「Our room was secluded & quiet. Location was great & easy to manage. People were friendly & accommodating. Thumbs up! 👍」

「Although a bit dated, the property was VERY clean and well maintained. The front desk was SUPER friendly and helpful. Great location close to everything and an easy walk downtown.」

「Room was exactly as depicted. Clean, smelled fresh, bed was very comfortable! Despite being on a major roadway and it was a busy holiday weekend, the other tenants were quiet, road noise was minimal. The parking lot is a bit cramped but it’s a smaller lodge so to be expected. The staff were so considerate and helpful. Their recommendation for the Thai place around the corner was spot on. Delicious! Would definitely recommend The Lodge as a reasonably priced comfortable place to spend the...

「Great one night getaway for my wife’s birthday! The room was fun and unique!」

「It was nice but room was smaller than anticipated and no matter what kept tracking dirt and leaves in but it was really nice and enjoyed our time there」

「Wonderful. Helpful and kind staff. The rooms were perfect spacious and EXTREMELY clean.」

「parking was plentiful but we were not certain how exactly to position our vehicle because there are no markings nor instructions that we found. not a big deal but we noticed it.」
