Mammoth Lakes Goldrush Express 10 Hotels

"The toilet in my room only partially flushed. I told the staff and they got someone right on it, but the fix didn't make much of a difference. I am a contractor and in my opinion they have a much larger plumbing infrastructure problem. The breakfast offerings were extremely sparse, not to mention the powdered eggs."

Shout out to Andrew, Kennedy and Joy who really went above and beyond to be extra helpful and made our first visit to Mammoth unforgettable. 3 of the most helpful people I’ve ever met. We celebrated our 15th anniversary and when we asked for a late checkout, they offered us an extra hour! One small area for improvement, the restaurant was understaffed the first night with only one woman serving and she kind of took it out on us guests. But everything thing else was amazing. The ski valet was so convenient. Shout out to Rodney who was extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was great. "

"This place is so cool and puts a smile on your face. Right by the lake. Perfect cabin cozy feel and the staff is super nice. The bed is sooo comfortable . I just loved it and will book again. "

"We were moving my mother’s belongings for her in a U-Haul, but decided to take a scenic route through the eastern Sierras and have a couple of nice stays on the way. When I pulled up in front to check in, the bell hop seemed annoyed, even condescending that we had pulled up in a U-Haul. He rather snidely informed us that there was no parking for over-sized vehicles, and then directed me to move it to their loading dock doors (the vehicle was not blocking the driveway in front of the hotel). Not satisfied with how I parked the vehicle, he found me inside while checking in and rather rudely asked me for the vehicle key so he could park it as he felt necessary - completely inappropriate demeanor for a first interaction with a client/guest. Later, we ordered food at the hotel bar which turned out to be really disappointing. Even some of the staff made disparaging remarks about the restaurant. Terrible experience for a relatively expensive stay."
