“The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The pool was great with the sunset ocean view. Very nice small bar next to the pool. My overall stay was good. The only thing I notice is the everything is a little dated. Maybe in the future with a little love the hotel will be fabulous.”

“Beautiful rainforest property with good birding opportunity, birds song, cicadas, and frogs, but "touristy", so the natural vibe gets ruined. It seems they cater to tour groups, so not very private or queit. Have to pay for 3 meals a day but on their schedule that's too late for serious birding and not as healthy as I'd prefer. I travel solo and do not enjoy sitting by myself or wasting time I could be out finding birds sitting in a restaurant. I go ut birding before daybreak so, lunch as late……

“I want to start by saying that my wife and I very much enjoyed our 7 day stay. With that said it's web site states that it is the only luxury resort on the beach which in our opinion is stretching the word luxury a bit. To us its luxury is not in the facility, which is a bit rustic, but rather the natural setting that surrounds it. Beautiful macaws, howler monkeys, iguanas, tapir, hawk, other wild life in the area, lush green environment and of course the sound of the beach surf all day long.……

“If you want to be right in the middle of nature and wildlife this is the place to go. Most of the resort is raised up into the treetops so you can be eye level with creatures you'd usually only see way above you from the ground. The included hikes and birdwatching were wonderful with very knowledgeable and passionate guides. “Very good idea to have the right vacations”

“Husband and I are here on last leg of a birding trip. This is one of 10 of places we have stayed, and is our favorite ecolodge. Lots of birds on the property, and stay includes a complementary bird tour on-site. We did all meals food plan; meals are basic, made with fresh ingredients and full portions. Spacious rooms have nice views of adjacent jungle.”

Durch Löcher in fliegenetze kommen viele Insekten in das Bungalow Am holztisch , der zum Essen gedacht ist , haben sich schon länger mehrere Insekten eingepuppt gehabt , auch sind Pilze daran gewachsen . “We stayed in a king-size cabin right by the water and it was very comfortable. The mattress is great. The AC works well. It has an attached bathroom, which is pretty basic, but it gets the job done. The location and the view and the access to the water to go for a swim is unbeatable. This is not a luxury lodge, but it is very clean and well maintained. Tomas the owner is super helpful.
