「We have mixed views on this Banyan Tree Property. The room and the grounds were lovely and very well maintained, including things for kids to do, however there were some key details lacking which means this property falls short of the standards we expect from Banyan Tree. 「The hotel was great. The staff are so unbelievably helpful and lovely. Whoever the owner is should do all they can to keep the staff they have, they are nothing short of fantastic. Breakfast was good and we ate dinner once too and we were really happy. The location is great, not too far from town but far enough to be peaceful and quiet. We also appreciated the free shuttle in the evening to town. We walked back twice but it was also easy to get a Didi taxi. Highly recommend this place.」

「The view from the hotel room was amazing. We had many baths with our toddler and baby in the bathtub facing the amazing view and it was simply a relaxing experience. The hotel staff was also accommodative as they allowed us to bring the breakfast up to our room as it could be difficult to handle a toddler and a baby at the restaurant. 「We loved this hotel. It is situated next to the ancient town of Xingping and you need to get a small ferry across the river to get to it if you come from Yangshuo Railway Station. 「The location is absolutely perfect. You are right on the Li River, and it's an easy walk to both the wharf and the bustling West Street, yet the hotel itself is quiet and peaceful.
