Galini Palace Resort Hotel - All Inclusive

"The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. However when we arrived our shower had a leak and this wasn’t fixed until the night before we checked out. So 4 nights of a dripping shower The pool was clean and the pool beds too, We had a shared pool which was nice and private. The food was so good, limited choices but even those choices - the food never tasted bad at all. However the restaurant itself was definitely not the best. The staff were a bit slow tending to tables. Service at the restaurant wasn’t as consistent. The gym had good well maintained equipment. We never got to check out the sauna or steam room properly as they had been switched off nor the indoor pool which was too cold for me ( they did warn us about the indoor pool as well ) But they looked clean and well maintained However nowhere on the hotel description is it stated you have to pay daily to use the safe or that you have to pay use those pool beds with curtains or that you have to pay for the beach beds which there’s only about 10 of them. Overall we had a good little break at the resort. It was lovely weather lovely food. Ohh and the water slides were definitely nice and it too in your face either."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! The location is fantastic, with supermarkets and great restaurants and cafés all close by. The view from the garden is beautiful, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings.The house was spotlessly clean when we arrived and had everything we needed. The swimming pool was lovely, and the beds were incredibly comfortable — we slept wonderfully!A very special thank you to Stella for all her help during our stay. She is incredibly helpful, always ready to assist, and genuinely thinks along with you to make sure everything is perfect. Her hospitality really made our stay even more enjoyable.This villa can really only get one score from us: a big 10 out of 10!"

"We loved our stay at this beachfront villa on Crete! The location is ideal—right on the beach with stone barriers that keep the water calm, so swimming is always enjoyable, even on windy days. The area is surrounded by charming, local restaurants that are close enough to visit easily but don’t disrupt the peaceful vibe.It’s also a great base for exploring the island, with easy access to hiking trails, historical sites, and everything Crete has to offer. We had an amazing time and can’t recommend it enough!"

"Aeolos Apartments is a great place to stay in Kolumbary. The hosts are polite, supportive, and welcoming, and my apartment was lovely – overlooking the coastline and catching a great breeze thanks to its elevation. My only concern was the shower: a tiny ~90cm x 90cm (3ft x 3ft) square tucked in the corner of the bathroom, just a curtain, and a handheld showerhead you have to hold the whole time. It made showering genuinely frustrating and not very pleasant. Lesson learned – I'll pay closer attention to bathroom photos before booking in Kolumbary next time."
