“We had to change hotels from one that I won’t mention to this Drury Inn and paid only $30 more for an amazing upgrade!! A nice evening meal was included between 6:00-7:30pm. Breakfast was very good. The best biscuits and gravy I have ever had in a hotel. I like them crispy. Friendly staff and very clean room. The room had a nice neutral smell - not strong with air freshener or cleaning products. Just clean. The bed was very comfortable. Most beds in hotels are a bit too firm for me, but this……

“I absolutely loved my experience at the General Denver Hotel in Wilmington! The old-fashioned elevator was really cool. I loved how Terri was able to help me by allowing us to use the elevator anytime we needed by always being available for us. She made sure we were taken care of very well. She is a very kind person and made our stay very welcoming. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone”

“Room was worn but clean. Staff was inexperienced but careful and helpful. Breakfast was minimal but adequate. The pool was dark and dingy however clean. ”

“When booking I read the reviews that gave high rating to their breakfast menu. I chose this hotel because of that and the fact that it is dog friendly. I may have missed somewhere on website that there is a $75.00 dollar charge for your pet on top of room charge. The breakfast was far from being good. Fruit was overripe, sausage and eggs were warm at best and tasteless. Overall very disappointed in breakfast.”

“The hotel is under major construction and they were at one point laying concrete on our floor and tearing up carpets. There was no acknowledgment of this to us and it felt shady. ”

“At check out the clerk was wonderful and very kind. Check in was easy after hours. The cabin was very cute but could have been cleaner. The area was quiet even on Saturday night and close to Mason and many things to do.”

“The only thing I didn't see to round out this disgusting establishment were rats. Stay clear. They gave me a smoking room, but I have asthma. There was a huge hole in the door of the bathroom, a hole in the wall outside the bathroom.. There were stains on the walls, the bathroom floor, and on the bedspreads. The sink fixture was broken, the ceiling fan appeared to just be a hole in the ceiling, and three different things were broken in the bathroom. And the rest of the place was just as……
