This was an excellent gite in fabulous location, very private but quite close to the pleasant town of Gourdon. Probably the best holiday gite in which we have ever stayed. We will return.

Everything was absolutely wondeful, the house, the surroundings and the pool. The property was even lovelier that the pictures in the advetisement. Very highly recommended.

We had a great time at the cottage. The location was just soo peaceful. We loved listening to the bells of the cantal cattle grazing in the field adjacent to the place. The pool was very nice. Loved the seating area outside. Cottage well equipped We would stay again.

Wonderful Property!

Absolutely loved our stay and really can't fault a thing. Super well equipped with everything we needed. Coffee machine a real perk! Outside area lovely and the cows nearby were lovely to hear and see. Wonderful meal in Gourdon at 'Le Pot Occitan' Overall the location is wonderfully peaceful and relaxing. Sarlat market a must (Saturday the better day) Thoroughly recommend this property.

Just Superb!

The Gite really is a wonderful place to stay. Set in beautiful surroundings with an amazing pool it was the most wonderful location to relax and unwind. The Gite was comfortable and well equipped for anything you need and was absolutely spotless. Gourdon itself was a lovely town to explore and it has many restaurants worth a visit, supermarkets etc. Communicating with Mike was always easy and he was very prompt to respond to communications. We would highly recommend this Gite and really did not want to leave to go home and will certainly look to visit again.

The Westons

Wow! What a beautiful gite this is. It far exceeded our expectations. The owners have thought about everything, there is nothing we would change. The location was stunning with the only neighbours being the cows and calves in the next field. It is perfectly located to visit Domme, Sarlat, La Roque Gageac and canoeing. We ate out a couple of evenings but the best nights were lighting the bbq around the pool and enjoying the beautiful gite. Thank you Mike for sharing your stunning gite with us. We can’t wait to return again one day.

Magnifique !

La propriété est conforme à l'annonce et même mieux! Calme absolu, environnement bucolique tout en étant proche de tous les commerces de Gourdon. La maison est spacieuse, très bien aménagée et équipée. Beaucoup de très beaux sites à visiter aux alentours. Bref un magnifique séjour. Nous reviendrons très certainement.

Authentieke woning in een oase van rust

De gerenoveerde woning; in de typische stijl van de regio, is ruim en goed in orde. Door de temperatuursensoren bij elke kamer en buiten, kan je steeds op het perfecte moment ramen en luiken sluiten/openen om het binnen zo koel mogelijk te hebben in de warme zomer. Het huis is erg rustig gelegen, met een enorm grasplein rondom en verder bijna uitsluitend velden en wei (met koeien). Duidelijke en uitgebreide info van de eigenaar, zowel vooraf aan verblijf als voorzien in de woning zelf.

Belle maison de campagne, bien située

La propriété garde le cachet d'une maison d'époque malgré une restauration en profondeur. Elle est donc très confortable et possède tout l'équipement moderne. Piscine très agréable et ensoleillée. L'environnement extérieur est très vaste et il n'y a pas de voisins à proximité. Un troupeau de vaches agrémente le paysage.. Le propriétaire n'est pas présent mais facilement accessible par courriel. Le village tout près est intéressant à visiter et comporte tous les services dont on peut avoir besoin. L'emplacement de la maison est idéal pour visiter les très nombreux attraits touristiques de cette magnifique région. En somme, c'est une destination parfaite, autant pour le repos que pour le tourisme.

Fantastic gîte in a stunning location

This is a beautiful property nestled in a very private, relaxing part of le Lot. The space is comfortable, modern, and calm. It is very well stocked with all you need to cook and relax. Grocery shops are very close by as are many of the most popular sites in the Lot and the Dordogne. Communication with Mike was very easy. Can't recommend this place enough!

Une maison qui a beaucoup d'atouts, des extérieurs top ,un environne nature : aux milieux des champs avec quelques vaches en fond. Malgré des chambres un peu petites , la maison est facile à vivre. Et le propriétaire très réactif. Je recommande cette location 😄😄

The house was very comfortable with three bedrooms, all with bathroom. The kitchen was well equiped. There was a spacious garden around the house. And the swimmingpool was great. We had a wonderfull time!!
