"Clean room and perfect for a quick stay in KC"

"Staff was friendly at the St. Joseph Stoney Creek Inn and we were greeted warmly. The rooms were comfortable and the common areas were well-maintained. Breakfast was tasty and had a good selection of items. The only downside of our visit was the church women's group staying at the hotel, who persisted in conducting conversations in the hallways late into the night. One would have thought a group of this background would have been more aware of others staying at the hotel."

"Ensure you read the fine print… this facility charges for parking $15 per day. This seems bizarre to me since it is remote. I understand charging people that park there for the airport shuttle but guests should be free!"

"Breakfast is just okay, would be better with croissants, bagels, the next step up from plain bread and dispensed basic cereals. Shutlle to/from airport is very good. Not much local public transit except a nearby bus that comes once an hour and is nearly an hour from downtown. Routes recently changed so check with local transit authority, but staff there can be very helpful or rude. A few restaurants are in the nearby hotels, but almost none close by that are freestanding/walkable. Overall, good hotel for the basics."
