「Big Horse Inn is a hidden gem in this part of Illinois. It is perfectly located, close to Dickson Mounds (great hiking trails), Emiquon National Wildlife Refuge, and the Illinois/Spoon River area. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy. Self check-in could not have been easier. 「Low cost room. The bed was comfortable. The TV, fridge and microwave all worked. Hot shower. The room was a little too warm the first night, but comfortable the next. I like the room cool at night. Just my preference. For the price, I would return.」
