Perfect Family Time

The property was perfect for our annual family get together. The house was great, had everything we needed and more. Of course the pool was the big hit with the kids and adults. Beautiful views, just and all around great experience. We hope to be back soon!

Best trip yet! The kids lived in the lake and the pool, and the adults lounged, enjoying the lake breezes and got a chance to unwind and catch up. Will be returning! Thanks again!!

Relaxing family getaway

We had an amazing time relaxing with family before heading back to school. The view is even better than the pictures and the home is perfect for mixed ages. There’s accommodations for babies, the lake swing and pool for older kids, and rocking chairs for granny and pawpaw. It was clean and welcoming and our host was gracious and responsive. Already talking about making this an annual trip.

This has it all

We have booked this property 3 times now for a family reunion. It has everything - pool, boat dock with swing and jumping platform, rooms, perfect for everyone. And the view is stunning! The host is very responsive and does a great job accommodating our requests. Looking forward to next year!

Annual Family Lake Trip

Perfect house for our family, 3 generations. There is something for everyone. Pool and game room, large dining area, and lake access! The property is beautiful. Most of all, the owners are friendly and responsive. We will be back!

Thanksgiving with Family

Amazing view of the lake from the back of the house. We enjoyed the firepit and the indoor fireplace. The lighthouse was fun for the kids as a separate sleeping area but had no heater. Home has a nice country feel and was decorated very well. Nice long driveway to accommodate family and guests. Sunroom with the large table made it fun for game night. Would love to stay again and experience the home in the summertime. Overall, a great experience and the hosts were super friendly and communicated well.

Amazing Girls weekend

We had a group of 14 stay at this amazing property for a girls weekend away and it did not disappoint. The interaction and communication with the owner in advance was top notch and all of our questions were answered. Upon arrival, every aspect of the home was well thought out and anything we could have needed was provided. The backyard area and pool was an absolute sanctuary which is what we all needed. While we did plan a day to go in to town for shopping and wine tasting, we could have easily stayed at the property and relaxed as the weather and the location was perfect. Looking forward to coming back again! Thank you for the hospitality.

Family Vaca

Our stay was amazing. The view is gorgeous, the pool is so nice (salt-water) and the house was large enough to accommodate our entire family. We loved having the two living areas so the guys could watch sports upstairs while the littles watched cartoons downstairs. The kids were in the pool all day long and loved it. The kitchen seemed a little chaotic and could have been more organized but that could have been a personal preference. We usually cook all our meals in the home and there was plenty of room for all 14 of us to have somewhere to sit and to prepare the meals. We loved the extra refrigerator outside and my littles LOVED the Little Tikes cars in the garage!!! It was a wonderful week with our family. We would definitely stay in this home again.

Potential is there but not realized

the overdecoration of the home and "extreme" accessorization is to the point that it is claustrophobic; also contributing to the same uncomfortable feeling is the darkness caused by the gray walls and ceilings throughout; while a well stocked kitchen is appreciated this one is overwhelming due to the magnitude of items (many mismatched) available and the complete lack of logical organization there was a general lack of a crisp/clean feel in many parts of the home, especially the kitchen much of the carpeting needs to be replaced as it is spotted and stained (especially bad is the carpet going up to the second floor), stained kitchen towels and potholders should be replaced baby cribs in so many bedrooms only add to "crowding" the space; recommend that they be available where and when needed by guests future renters should be prepared and not entirely discouraged by the drive to the property that takes one thru a distressed area the immediate entrance to the driveway itself should be modified; two of our vehicles (sedans) bottomed out and required considerable caution when departing so as not to damage the cars On the positive side the attributes that easily deserves a 10 rating: the pool was great and the outside grill did the job with no difficulty the owners were responsive, helpful, and attended to all requests asap the view across the lake very restful this section of lake quite safe for boating with kids being towed in rafts

Great lakehouse with a pool

The house had everything we needed and room for us, our children, and grandchildren. The house was nicely decorated and clean. The little kids enjoyed the pool and the young adults liked the rope swing on the dock. We also used the canoe. Great place to stay!

A piece of paradise! We never left the property because there was so much to do right there. The pool is perfect and the access to the lake perfect. At the end of the stay my family agreed we were "watered out"! That's the mark of a perfect summer vacation. Kitchen was also well stocked with everything we needed. So much space!

This place has it all

This is the 4th year we have had our family gathering at this house. It is fantastic. Plenty of bedrooms and baths. A boat dock! Easy access to the water. The best. Will be going back next year again.

Sisters Weekend

17th year of long time friends that meet the same time every year, weekend after Father’s Day! Some are actually sisters, some are a mother and her 3 daughters. Great salt water pool and beautiful landscape with a sunset and sunrise! Great view and large dining table allowing our group to eat together and enjoy the beautiful scenery! Everyone loved the town of Granbury!

So great and homey! Our big family came for a reunion and everyone had a blast, from the toddler to the grandparents! The teens loved jumping off the dock platform and having the pool at hand. The toddler loves the wide steps and benches in the pool. And we loved the giant dining table so we could take our meals together. The kitchen was plenty stocked for all our needs .The host was very responsive with questions about the house and helping us find what we needed at the house and while we were in town. So kind and great to work with!
