「This was our first experience staying at Shinola although we knew about the hotel's reputation as a premier property in Detroit. It was just a one-night stay, but we had an incredible experience. I had reached out in advance sharing it was a special occasion celebrating an anniversary and babymoon. I didn't expect much but I believe we were assigned a more spacious corner room and received a very sweet hand-written letter from the staff, along with a bottle of sparkling juice and some chocolates...

「Exceeded expectations. Great hotel that is perfectly located in downtown Detroit. Walking distance to Little Caesars Arena, Comerica Park, and Ford Field. Also Detroit Opera House, Fillmore, and Fox. Room was awesome. Breakfast in Rise is very good. The Lone Goat pub is attached and awesome. Lots of shops, cocktail bars, etc in the immediate area. Definitely will go back.」
