「When you visit Halifax, stay in nearby Dartmouth at Windmill Walk. You will enjoy a quiet neighborhood and a 10-minute walk to the ferry that crosses the harbor to downtown Halifax and the waterfront. Our second floor spacious apartment has large west and north windows. A small private deck is off the bedroom. This 1920s-era building is in great condition. Andy, our host who lives in the building, met us when we arrived and gave us a detailed orientation. He made us feel very welcome.」

Best access is via the main drive because of the deep curb from the road, which I definitely did not want to attempt in a rental.
