  • Sunset from Grand Isle State Park, near the southern tip of Louisiana. We didn't know you could drive 1.5 hours south of New Orleans, but you can to reach this beautiful state park. Grand Isle is mostly a summer community but it was sunny and warm and nearly empty for us in early March. The RV park was a great place to stay -- one of our favorites, right next to the beach and with nature paths nearby. We walked on the beach by day, and grilled burgers and sat by the campfire at night. Great getaway place!

We had a great stay. Check In and Out way easy and the beach was within walking distance. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook with.

We loved it. You can see dolphins from the deck of the house. 1 minute walk to beach. Good communication from host. Clean.

Great place! Very short walk to beach Had all the amenities Only issue we had was the front door was hard to open, especially as it warm up during the day. Guess the heat makes the door swell Overall, great place!! Would definitely come back
