Perfect weekend getaway!

The cabin was warm and cozy. A perfect cabin for a weekend getaway. The location was ideal, close enough to town but far away enough to feel secluded and private. Looking forward to going back!

Wonderful location and property

This was a lovely cabin and we loved the sweet neighborhood it was in and how close it was to Lake Grandby. Very clean throughout and liked the well stocked kitchen. We truly enjoyed the large deck and appreciated the locking gates to allow our 2 year old to roam around outside. Fantastic place to stay!

Wonderful stay

Loved everything about this cabin!!! It was close enough to town but was also quiet which is what we wanted. We could see lots of stars when sitting out by the fire. It fit our family of 5 just perfect. Hope to go back one day!

Great Cabin!

Kevin was an absolutely wonderful host! He made sure we knew what amenities were already at the cabin so we had less stuff to pack. He was also kind enough to send us a great hike nearby since he knew the area so well. The deck and the fire pit were so nice, and a great way to enjoy being outside.

Great Lake escape

Perfect middle ground between completely secluded wooded cabin and lake town spot. Great location, owner was super communicative, and it was exactly as described, with no surprises, reasonable check out process and timing, etc. A few older and dated accessories (uneven grill and no non-stick pans) but none inconvenienced us.

Relaxing Retreat In The Woods

My friends and I came up for a short getaway. The house was the perfect little relaxing cabin for that. It was pretty rainy while we were there so we didn't get to use the firepit but the covered porch was perfect to drink coffee and watch the rain come down. Plenty of seating for movie watching and lots of space for us to read and nap. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need. Thank you, it was a great stay.

December Getaway

Our family had a great time staying for a winter break vacation! Cabin was cute and cozy. We enjoyed the wood burning stove and WiFi to watch football. The fooseball table and selection of games was a hit for our boys. There were also many activities close by to keep us busy. Rocky Mountain National Park snowy hikes, free ice skating on Grand Lake, snow tubing in Fraiser, Hot Sulfer Springs, & snowmobile rentals. Beds were all comfortable and kitchen fully stocked. Would for sure stay again!

Rocky mountain visit

The property is in a quiet neighborhood. The access roads are not paved. That is more Grandlake itself. We found the access to the main roads convenient. On the property itself - the place is a little tight - the air circulation is not there because there is no ac. Not sure if there is a way to enable it. - liked the kitchen, the stocks and the equipment.

Owner and home were wonderful

We had a great time. We were visited by a mama moose and her baby for a few nights of our stay. The home is clean amd organnied and the owner was available and engaged. Only a few things on the fault the property mgmt team: we had 4 bath towels for 7 people. The home had an 11 am checkout listed in the property but mgmt told us 10 last minute. And the tv in the main floor os virtually inoperable. We couldn't use it. Small things but they were preventable by the arrival inspector . Location was great and we had a wonderful time. We will be back.

Our First Thanksgiving in CO

Our teenage son was looking to spend some time in Colorado for the summer. But then he springs the idea of spending the some time in the winter in a cabin for Thanksgiving for our first time ever. We were looking for a cozy and quiet yet modern look for our Home away from Home this holiday season. We stumbled across this property after hours of searching. I love to cook so the kitchen sold me. We are only a family of four and we love comfort therefore the bedrooms were a hit. We love room and space and wildlife and quiet time as well. Booked. There was constant communication from the moment we booked. I was nervous at first using Vrbo for the first time. But the management company was very professional and the check in guide was so helpful. The owners were so sweet and Kevin called the day of to make sure we arrived safely and to assure we were ready to go with our stay at their cabin. Where do I begin? It snowed a lot but the driveway was plowed and ready for our arrival. Please make sure you follow their directions when they recommend the perfect car for snow. We settled in comfortably and found our rooms, unpacked and was surprised on the amount of supplies that the cabin was stocked with. Ie. Soap, shampoo, detergent, towels, condiments, spices, cleaning supplies, tea and coffee and all the pots and pans you need Kevin was a text and phone call away and we absolutely enjoued our first Thanksgiving as a family in Colorado. Bravo! We will be back.

Grand Lake Cabin

Lovely cabin getaway

Excellent accommodations for our family of 8. Room for everyone to have their own space. Great location - we boated all 3 lakes, mountain biked, hiked, saw moose, elk, deer, eagles, and osprey.

Outstanding Property

This property is very nice and convenient to everything Grandby/Grand Lake has to offer. Our family really enjoyed staying here. Plenty of room inside, large deck, and all the amenities you need. Just blocks from Grandby lake made it easy to access paddle boarding and fishing. We will definitely be back!
