Superior Reflections Cabin #1
Are you looking for a quiet place to relax or to explore the North Shore? Superior Reflections Cabin #1 on the shore of Lake Superior is calling for you. THERE IS NO WIFI in this 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin. There’s 2 twin beds in one bedroom and a full in the other bedroom. There’s a small kitchen with basic necessities attached to the main room. The dining table is in front of the window so you can enjoy the view while eating or just sitting around visiting. The living space has a couch and 2 chairs. There’s also a TV with a DVD player and HDMI input for watching movies. Outside there’s a picnic table and charcoal grill.
The steps take you down to the cobblestone beach where you can search for agates, stack rocks or read a book. An evening campfire on the shore gazing at the stars is the perfect way to end the day. This is a great rental combination with Superior Reflections 2 and 3 to relax and enjoy the beautiful north woods.
Across the highway is the Gitchi Gami bike trail. Temperance River State Park is practically in our backyard with miles of hiking trails and beautiful waterfalls. Nearby you will find Cross River, Father Baraga’s Cross, and the Sugarloaf Cove Nature Center. The Schroeder Bakery is a great place to start your day with a coffee, breakfast sandwiches and bakery. After a day of hiking you could stop for a malt or pizza.
This is a seasonal cabin open May through October. Pets are welcome with prior approval and an additional fee, 2 pet maximum. Due to the location on the shore and season, water may taste salty. We provide drinking water for you.
We provide towels, linens and soaps. Please bring your personal toiletries (shampoo, conditioner).

A wonderfully cozy cabin that sits right in the lake! A great escape and to hear the waves roll in was a bonus. Such a fun time hunting for that treasure of a rock and my dog being able to put her feet in the water. Star gazing was phenomenal. Highly recommended!

Relaxing getaway, beautiful view
This was our 2nd time staying at Superior Reflections, first time in cabin 1. Beautiful view of the lake, great and quiet location, and cute and clean cabin. We would definitely reccomend and plan to visit again!

3rd year and another great stay! Full moon rising over the Lake to boot!
It wasn't timed but it was pretty cool to see the full moon rising over the lake and watching it move. Cabin was great and centrally located to all the activities our family was looking to do. Being able to go to sleep and wake up to the waves crashing on the shore never gets old!

Superior Reflections Cabin #1
We very much enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was neat, clean and very comfortable. The best part was the wondeful view of Lake Superior and access to the beach. It was unfortunate that the mosquitoes were in abundance; we were not able to enjoy being on the beach as much as we had hoped. We would recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice relaxing place to stay!

One of the best views
If i could afford a summer cottage, it would be here. Second time staying here. Love the easy access to the lakeshore and listening to waves 24-7. Always wish we had an extra day to just chill around the cabin. Owners are great and respond quickly.

Relaxing, Clean & Comfortable
We loved our stay at Superior Reflections Cabin 1. It was so relaxing going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the waves. The cabin was clean, comfortable ,and well equipped, and had amazing views of Lake Superior! Barb and Mike are wonderful, friendly hosts, and we enjoyed visiting with them and their daughter. We went home relaxed and cannot wait to visit again! We hope we can make it an annual tradition!

Amazing location
Lake shore tranquility. Quiet. Listen to the waves while you sleep. Owner is very responsive to any questions. 2 state parks very close. Would stay again.

Another great stay
We are waiting for the properties to become available for the 2023 season and booked as soon as we could. Do not know if you can get closer to the lake than where we were. So glad we found this location 2 years ago

Just What We Wre Looking For
We loved our visit! The cabin was all we hoped it would be. It was so peaceful. We loved having our coffee outside in the morning, enjoying the Lake and a glass of wine in the evening.
The cabin was spotless and the beds were comfortable. We would have enjoyed a more comfortable chair in the living room to relax in.
A safety bar in the shower would be good. The floor of the showers gets slippery.
We are already taking about a return visit.
