「This was the perfect solo long weekend off-grid in the woods. The level of small details that were present everywhere just made this such a perfect place to go, be quiet and reconnect with nature, even when sitting inside by the fire and staring outside. 「The cabin is smaller, but offers plenty of space for a couple travelling to the area! It was clean and well-stocked. The views of the forest surrounding the cabin are beautiful, and the stars were amazing on a clear night. Hearing wolves in the distance from the comfort of the cabin was exciting. The sauna was great to use after a day of hiking and exploring downtown Grand Marais. We would definitely stay here again!」

「My husband and I loved everything about this cabin. It is private up on a hill with a gorgeous view yet close to many things. The cabin is of excellent design and every aspect works perfectly. I loved the barn doors on the master bedroom that we could close in the morning when I got up earlier than my husband to make coffee. Most A frame designs leave the loft bedroom open to all of the noises of the kitchen but not this cabin. I also loved looking out over the lake while soaking in the copper...

「what a beautiful area, at the end of the gunflint trail. i was there before ice out so it was very quiet, beautiful surroundings and a very comfortable room. nice clean bathroom with good shower. this would be a perfect place to stay before and/or after a canoe trip into the BWCA. make sure you have everything you want because it is an hour drive into Grand Marais, that is part of the beauty of this place. i had great communication from the property owners, i will definitely staying there again.」
