“Nous étions 12 ( enfants, ados, adultes, chien, 3 bagnoles) La propriété est situé juste en dehors des logements sociaux (visibles sur Map). Mais ce n'est pas un quartier à problème, pas de culture importé quoi...Le décor est planté. La maison est grande, PROPRE, et pratique avec tout les sanitaires en double. La petite piscine est entretenue, non chauffée parce que pas besoin. On peut dire que l'étage du bas est réservé à la détente parce qu'il y a tout pour bien se marrer ( billard,……

“Firstly Anni is an excellent host. Great communications throughout with plenty of ideas and local information.... and more when you meet her! We had a couple of minor issues whilst staying there, but once again she was fantastic and sorted them out quickly! The Gite is what I would describe as typical for the area. Quite dark inside, but lots of character. Clean on arrival and had all we needed. Pool was well used by us, better on hot days.... bit nippy on moderate days! All in all a good……

“We've just returned from a week-long stay and had a lovely relaxing time at the villa. Jo and Aurelie met us on arrival and gave us a good tour of the property, answering questions along the way. They kept in touch regularly over whatsapp as needed, and Jo attended to cleaning the pool and hot tub almost daily. The villa is beautiful and everything has been thought of. The pool and hot tub were our favourite! We brought our dog so it was reassuring that the property was fully fenced and dog……

“Een ruim huis, goed uitgeruste keuken. Grote terras met zwembad heeft een prachtig wijds uitzicht. Kinderen vermaken zich hier prima met tafeltennistafel, voetbaltafel en zwembad. Ook is er een kast vol spelletjes. In de omgeving is zeer veel te bezichtigen en te doen. Vanuit het huis kun je heerlijk wandelen en fietsen. Eigenaren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam, weten veel over de omgeving te vertellen. Mooi plekje waar je helemaal tot rust komt!”

“Lovely villa, I've never rented a property that was so well equipped. Beautiful pool and gardens. Lots of places to sit with a glass of wine. A shame the restaurant in the village is closed but beautiful surrounding countryside.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to South West France. Alan and Barbara are perfect hosts - warm, welcoming and thoughful- nothing was too much trouble and they anticipated and met our every need. The house is spacious and well-equipped and pool and garden delighful. The setting is fabulous - peaceful and relaxing with georgous views over fields and woodland and the foothills of the Pyrenees Audoise. Just outside Chalabre, the location is great for exploring the upper Aude and Arriege area……

“Bon gîte à prix raisonnable.Accès routier un peu difficile car très petite rue en pente. Attention à ne pas se fier entièrement à Google qui nous a fait prendre un sens unique à l'envers. La personne qui nous a donner les clés est très aimable et nous a donné des informations pratiques sur le village.”
