Beautiful, Secluded Villa in the South of France
This villa was the perfect home base for our group’s visit in July and August. The home and the grounds feel historic, but with the updates and modern amenities that we wanted (HVAC, laundry machines, WiFi, modern kitchen, gym, etc.). The pictures in the listing do not do the villa justice. The interior is pristine, with comfortable furniture, large bedrooms, and a fully stocked kitchen that made entertaining easy, but the exterior is the star of this home. The villa is surrounded by a Mediterranean garden that provided a beautiful backdrop, as well as herbs and lavender for cooking. There is ample outdoor seating, including numerous outdoor dining areas and pool seating. Our group enjoyed the pétanque court and the pool as well. The chickens on the property were a bonus and provided us with fresh eggs every morning.
The location, outside of Grasse, was great for our group, as we were able to take day trips across the region. Destinations like Nice, St. Tropez, Monaco, and Cannes were easily accessible by car. Access to the villa is up a narrow drive, so a small SUV (and a confident driver) will be helpful when renting.
We could not be happier with the villa and appreciated the responsiveness and attentiveness of the owners when we texted with questions. We highly recommend this villa!
