The Perfect River House !!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wow!! We absolutely LOVED our weekend!!! The house was perfect for US!!! We took our kayaks up the river about 3 miles and put in. Floated right back to the house and got out!!! Easy in and out!! We will be back!!

Riverside Escape too

Beautiful house, sounds of the river and the crickets was so relaxing. Didn’t catch any fish but the grandkids loved playing on and in the river’s edge. Large backyard for them to run around in while we could watch from the deck or the fire pit area. Just a wonderful place to relax and enjoy God’s beauty. Would gladly go back again. Grandma wanted to stay for a month, told her the rest of us needed to head back to work!!!

Wonderful Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was roomy perfect for 8 people. The views were wonderful. The drive into the property at first a little scary, definitely a plus to go with a truck. Cute little town (Cheese Store and CBD Store awesome). Great little Deli like store awesome homemade Ice Cream. The only downside is the fact that you need to drive about 25 minutes to throw away thrash.

Great time on the river

We had a wonderful time. The view was amazing. We enjoyed every meal on the covered back porch. The home was spacious for our party of 6. Kids loved the bunk beds and the huge back yard. We plan to come back. Rental company was very responsive throughout. The grill is in rough shape and was not cleaned well prior to our visit. Make sure to read the fine print regarding trash. You can only leave 2 bags of trash. Also, the nearest grocery store is 30+ minutes away so plan accordingly for that as well.

Summer vac

Property was ok. Not very clean, floors were not clean, kitchen was not fully stocked, no central air other than units in rooms. Waa asked to only have two trash bags in trash can before leaving but there was already bags in it when we got there. Outside was good other than an area in the yard that may have a leak because it sunk down in mud all over our feet in this area.

Nice place but has issues

The property was very nice, bare bones in the kitchen, you have to bring everything for clean up. Bath towels were subpar. Back deck was covered with pollen Lost water pressure for 14 hours, plumber came and fixed. Back of property needs a good clean up. Broken backboard needs to be removed. The grill was terrible, I have pics of it. Very quiet area, fishing was terrible, high water along with bad spawns. This is a nice cabin, owners need to do a little more for guests to make it great.

Perfect Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a group of 8 adults. The house was accommodated everyone perfectly. The downstairs master suite was large and an amazing space. The river was absolutely perfect. Amazing spot to just sit you chairs in the river for the day. Twin Rivers Campground near by allows you to park where you can put in your own tubes and get out right at the house for a 3-4 house float up the the river. The nearby community with all road name starting with Happy was the most amazing riding on our UTV. We absolutely loved everything and look forward to renting Riverside Escape Too and Riverside Escaped next year to bring more friends.

A lovely spot!

We loved being near the river, so the grandkids could wade around and tube. And close enough to the Virginia Creeper Trail to bike, and Grayson State Park is a gem. This house is near the end of a gravel road, and was very quiet—just the way we like it!

If you like the river . . .

We do like the river and we loved the place. The porch, especially, was a vacation in itself and I had a hard time leaving it. Just a wonderful property with everything you need.
