Great home for a family get-away! Everything you need is there. The inside of the house is so cute! Location was perfect for our winter weekend family fun. Hanson Hills is not far away.
I love everything about this beautiful home nice and comfy family friendly and beautiful scenery right in the backyard enjoy lots of family time and there was so much space and peaceful and quiet the host was amazing it was overall quite the experience
We brought our kids and came with friends and their family! 6 adults and 7 kids in total!Loved these things about the property:- ample outdoor patio furniture- secluded- house was clean and modern for a cabin- plentiful and soft towels/blankets- accommodating host
We stayed only two nights but agreed we needed another full day to enjoy the property. We loved hearing the steady stream of water, which looked majestic because of the snow. The place was quiet and clean, and we truly enjoyed our stay!
My wife and I loved our stay at this peaceful, spacious, woodland cabin. The property is nestled on the edge of Hartwick Pines, and we really took advantage of the walking trails around the area and took in the pretty Fall foliage. The east brach of the Au Sable River flowed through the backyard, which added a calming ambience. The inside of the cabin was very cozy and beamed with rustic flair. We will absolutely be back!
We stayed here for our annual family vacation. The house had plenty of room for our entire party of 7 adults and 3 kids. The home is fully stocked with every comfort of home. The bonus was a high chair and stroller which came in handy. The house was very clean and and had very cute decor. We loved the river in the back yard. We did a river walk, floated on tubes and just enjoyed our private creek. The hosts were great and replied in a timing manner to any questions. Great experience.
The property was beautiful, even with the ice storms that happened, the owners made sure to clear the backyard of branches for our wedding ceremony. We had an amazing time staying here!
Perfect, just perfect! Compliments on the host for how well stocked everything was. They had everything you could imagine and more. The property was gorgeous and the house was in great shape. Would stay here again or any place this host owns!
Beautiful home! Mattresses are super comfy! Dishes and kitchenware were top notch! Kids loved playing in the creek! Close to ATV trails. Loved the attention to detail for guests such as nighlights, extra blankets and plenty of supplies!
The property was VERY beautiful and private. The house was extremely clean and they had everything you would need for a weekend stay, or longer!! The hosts were very communicative and friendly. There was plenty of yard space for games as well as a beautiful patio and basement hang out space. HIGHLY recommend staying here, we will be back in the future!
Amazing property! Everything was well stocked and very clean. Check in/out instructions were explained well and easy to execute. Beds and furniture are comfortable, plenty of outdoor seating. Hosts notified us of important info throughout the stay and communication with them was easy. WiFi works great. 10/10 definitely recommend!
It was everything that we hoped for! Access to public trails as well as private snowmobile trails. Absolutely wonderful to have a bonfire, while riverside. Can’t wait for another opportunity to stay again.

This was a beautiful home on an amazing piece of property. If you are looking for a place to get away, this is it. Was fully equipped for any meal you would want to prepare. Cozy yet spacious. We will be returning.
Highly recommended!! The house was great, clean, well-organized, very detail oriented (labels on everything), excellent amenities, and plenty of room for your whole family. The river in the back yard is simply amazing, a babbling brook to fall asleep to was to die for. There was plenty of space around the property for kids to run around, or to have yard games, etc. The location of the house is only 12 minutes from downtown Grayling, so getting groceries or takeout food was no problem at all. There was plenty to do outdoors as well. Not only is there a river in the back yard, you are virtually across the main road from Hartwick Pines State Forest, which has plenty of things to do with the family, including 2 small lakes with fishing platforms safe for little kids. Hartwick also has miles of hiking trail, a logging museum, and a playground for the kiddos.Again, I would highly recommend this property, and we will most definitely be staying here again in the future.
Beautiful setting, deep in the North woods, with dark starry skies and peaceful nights. This place was perfect for our group of 4 couples for our cross country ski weekend. Fully equipped house with comfy beds, lovely decor, very communicative host.
