  • THIS IS THE PERFERCT home for a family or friends getaway, to see and experience the best of what the South County area of RI has to offer, along with Newport, without breaking the bank! The nightly stays are less than a hotel however, offer the coziness of a home. Split the cost with friends. Do not pay thousands more for a house on, or within, 10 minutes of the water or a major beach, Don't follow the beaten path; save your hard earned money.
    This awesome home is located in South Kingstown RI, and is located 20-25 minutes from Newport, the Block Island ferry, Galilee (great charter fishing boats), and all the great beaches and restaurants in between.
    TF Green International Airport is a 30 minute drive to the house and the Kingston train station is 5 minute drive from the house. - GREAT for a day trip to Providence or Boston. Many stays at my home are for activities in Newport such as the Jazz festival, folk Festival, and graduations for the The Newport Naval Academy. It also host to Brown University and URI graduations as well as summer events, which is 1/2 mile down the street .
    This home is inviting with an open concept that can accomadate 10 people easily without feeling you are on top of each other. It features 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms with a laundry room. (Three bedrooms upstairs and two are downstairs.)
    It is located in a quiet neighborhood, less than 3/4 miles from URI.
    If you don't feel like cooking or dining out, hit the URI food court that offers a variety for take out or delivery. You can enjoy an evening at home cooking in the well-appointed kitchen or you may choose to grill your favorite foods on the spacious deck.
    Local restaurants in South Kingston, Narragansett, Newport, and Charlestown offer cuisines for all tastes and budgets.

    I Also am taking Reservations for my Home for FIFA 2026 Matches in Gillette Stadium known as Boston Stadium for FIFA. This stadium is located In Foxborough Massachusetts, and its approximately 1 Hour and 15 minute drive. I recommend leaving 2 1/2-3 Hours before the game for traffic congestion during most of these times and also to allow for some tailgating in the lots. I hope you will enjoy your experience!

URI Celebration

Great place to stay for a URI event. The location is very close to the school and all of the amenities were perfect. There is enough space for a large group or family to stay at the house. Added benefit, there was a very nice welcome package for us when we arrived.

Perfect location for a group of friends

Everything was great here for our jazz festival trip; more than enough space for us, and being close to URI means food is easily accessible. Only note is that the checkout time is somewhat early at 9am.

Rhode Island Family Getaway

This place was perfect for my family of four which includes two teens. The place was super clean, and the kids loved having their own "place" on the lower level. Very convenient to beaches, BI ferry, and Newport. It's also just down the road from URI (we biked to it). Highly recommend.

Great Stay - Central Location

While ideally we would have liked to be closer to beach, this property ended up working very well for us located a short ride to both beach destinations (Newport & GreenHill). Host did a great job conmmunicating and with little things to make this an enjoyable stay like a welcome gift, and basic beach equipment. Layout furnishings were clean and well kept.

Wonderful Experience

This was the perfect place for a group to stay. Plenty of room and very peaceful in a rural setting. We had a daughter graduate from the Navy Officer Training School in Newport which is about 25 minutes away. Highly recommend if you have a group of 8-10 guest.

Our stay was overall great. Great value for the house, clean, comfortable and beautiful scenery. The welcome gift basket was more than welcoming, amazing gesture by Steve. Family Reunion

High-end accommodations. A great combination of open spaces to share and private rooms for downtime. We loved the quiet neighborhood. No unwanted distractions. Off the beaten path but near to beaches and quaint Peacedale.Everything you need right there at the house. My family loved it.

Awesome place, exceeded our expectations

Beautifully maintained and clean split-level ranch, enough space for the eight adults in our group. Owner was easy to contact with a couple of minor questions. All we needed was some basic groceries, and we were at home. Outside grounds and desks (two of them) well groomed and maintained. We definitely want to come back.

Stress free accommodation on short notice!

Unexpected family/friends gathering for a Celebration of Life. This home exceeded our expectations, and the Welcome Basket was a great surprise. For traveling a few hours to get there, it was such a pleasure to have cold water and snacks waiting for us. The house is VERY clean and all the little extras are a great touch. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone. Steve is an accommodating host.

Perfect accommodations.

Everything about pur stay was perfect from the welcome basket with snacks water and wine, to the availability of everything we could possibly need. All linens were provided, theres a wonderful upper and lower deck area with an umbrella table to relax and enjoy the outdoors. We did a 1000 piece puzzle while there as well. We had 6 people and everybody was able to sleep comfortably and peacefully both upstairs and downstairs even on the couches. 13/10 woukd rent again

Stay For Navy Graduation

The property was extremely clean and quiet. My family and I arrived there for my husband who was graduating from Officer Training Command. The property is a very convenient 30 minutes away from base and was perfect for celebrating. We enjoyed all of the amenities, as well as games provided for enjoyment. I would definitely recommend this place for families in the future if you are looking for a celebration or a quiet getaway. I especially recommend it to future families watching their loved ones graduate from OTCN as it is a very convenient distance!

Great base for a family reunion

Steve's property is well maintained and well equipped. It was the perfect set up for family members to stay together while attending my nephew's high school graduation. Steve left a basket of welcome snacks and was immediately responsive if we had any questions. We had 6 adults and two adolescents staying there, but could have easily accomodated two more people. The beds were comfortable, everything was very clean, and the large family room and kitchen were perfect for game nights and shared meals together. We enjoyed our visit to RI and this property was the ideal set up to explore the area and then have a cozy spot to come home to in the evening.

Nice place to stay

It was a good stay, with no big complaints. Maybe I would’ve liked to get a heads up about the train tracks out back, but honestly, it wasn’t too annoying and didn’t happen late at night. Everything was clean and as advertised, and it was nice to have snacks waiting for us. Beds were firm, but not uncomfortable, and it worked out that my kids could have their own space in the basement. Would’ve also liked to have had TVs in the bedrooms because 2 TVs for 4 adults and 4 kids was tough for what we’re used to. All in all, it was good.

Perfect Property, Wonderful Host

The home was perfect for my family of 10 visiting for Navy OCS graduation in Newport. Took 30 min to get to and from Newport and the airport, so very convenient for us and our needs. Also went to Boston for the day - only 1.5 hours away. Full basement with livingroom, bathroom, and 2 beadrooms worked great for the part of my family with 2 small kids, while the upstairs dinning table, kitchen, and patio allowed all of us to visit together. Slept great the whole time we were there - beds are comfy! Host was very easy to work with and so helpful in every aspect. This is a good find and very reasonable for the beautiful area based on my research! Book it!

Good sized home for our family vacation

Our family of 7 adults had plenty of room to sleep, cook, and eat together. We appreciated having 3 bathrooms and 5 bedrooms. Be aware that each bed is full size which my tall sons found to be a little small but they managed. Also the a/c is only on the upper level and the lower level got a little warm. Steve provided a floor fan for each lower level bedroom. Steve was very responsive when we contacted him about a maintenance issue which he was able to take care of. Over all the property was super clean and spacious.

AWESOME and AMAZING!!!

Our stay could not have been better. A special graduation weekend was made even more special with our stay. Steve is an amazing host so nice kind and generous. First walked in and he left us an unbelievable welcome casket. Steve thought of everything the house was totally amazing from the normal things to even the very very small details. There were night lights that would light up during the night pointed towards the bathroom or the door so you knew exactly where you were and needed to go when you woke up. It truly was a wonderful place to stay so comfortable so clean very close to the university The property is beautiful. Thank you very much Steve for having this amazing place for people to come and stay.

Perfect family beach stay

This place had everything our party of 4 kids and 4 adults could ask for. From the well-stocked kitchen, to the firewood for the pit out back, the games and books, to the beautiful welcome basket and cold water bottles that were waiting as we checked in after our long drive. There was plenty of room for everyone, enough space that it never felt crowded while also allowing for everyone to gather together. The dining room was perfect for board game nights, socializing and sit down dinners for the lot of us. In the evenings, the patio and deck areas were perfect for relaxing under the stars. The location was absolutely ideal; everything we needed was just a short drive away (including the beach) but the house itself was tucked away from any hustle and bustle. We truly cannot say enough good things about this place and it's host, who was quick to respond to any questions (including restaurant recommendations) and we hope to visit again the next time we're looking for a beach getaway!
