「We absolutely LOVED this place! We were vacationing with our two toddlers (ages 2&3) and my sisters family with her two toddlers (1&3) and this place was absolutely PERFECT! We could all still enjoy the beach while our kids were napping because everything was right there! No one had to haul anything to the beach, they had all the sand toys you could want, and more! One step off the porch and you’re in the sand! Loved it! And so did all the kids and adults!! Will definitely be staying again!!」

「This property is amazing! The cabin is perched on a little peninsula where you can hear the soothing sound of the waves from the bay side. The wide deck is a great spot to unwind, lie in the hammock, and listen to birds and leaves rustling in the breeze. 「I was looking for a nice, quiet, and relaxing, vacation. This property did not disappoint. The house was comfortable, cozy, well stocked, and so clean. The view is incredible. Just sitting outside watching the river was so "Zen". I had one of the most restful vacations ever. I was there for a little over two weeks and I would have stayed longer if I could have, Kim, the host, was very friendly and helpful. I look forward to staying at this beautiful property again.」

「This property was great for our extended family of 8 and could have comfortably accommodated more. The old charm of the house was enjoyed by all. Great kitchen, functioning bbq, large dining room table and a fire pit for us all to enjoy. The sunset was beautiful as we sat outside in the evening. Wifi is available but it is limited so some online activities may not always be possible - but not a bad thing when you are spending time with family.」

「We had a wonderful stay. The house was just as described, a cozy cottage perfect for relaxing with beautiful riverfront views. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, the living room and main bedroom we used were comfortable, and the sun porch had great views where you could relax in the AC. 「This was a great little getaway! The property was very accurate to the listing, and everything was very clean and tidy. We cooked a bit at the house and it had all the pots/pans/utensils we needed. 「An amazing, secluded property that is perfect for a family or friends getaway. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and there were plenty of bathrooms. 「Our vacation on Chesapeake Bay was wonderful. The house was clean and comfortable. It is an older home, but we loved the character and charm. 「The room was very nice all around. Knowing that the hotel was in renovation mode. My only concern is that the bathtub became very slippery after the first person used it. May I suggest a rubber mat on the tub's floor, or an extra bar on the outside tub for a much safer entry. Thank you!」
