"So glad we were able to find this cute little place. It is a no frills older hotel, which are the ones I love to find and support!! It is well maintained, nice view of the river, and close to everything. Jane was very helpful with recommendations and there if anything was needed. Plenty of space to relax and enjoy. Recommend to anyone who loves these nostalgic hard to find places anymore."

"We had a great stay at the Black Bear Inn in Orono, Maine. We loved that it's truly pet-friendly, making it easy to travel with our furry companion. The food was delicious, and the complimentary warm soup served every afternoon was a wonderful and thoughtful treat. The staff was friendly, and our room was clean and comfortable. We would gladly stay here again!"

"There’s not really anything negative I can say about the loon house. This place is so peaceful. There’s so much to do but you also have a lot of privacy and serenity. Abrams Pond is spectacular and you’re only about 45 minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park I will be returning to this house year after year. Thank you to Mitch Goldman for renting the house to us."

Cozy, Off-Grid Camp on Spectacle Pond w/ private water frontage!

"Jackie's place is a little paradise. The camp is beautiful, functional, comfortable. Easy to deal with the generator (by a simple button on a remote control) and also there is a battery with a lot of autonomy that we used to charge our devices and more. The backyard is the lake with a small beach and with beautiful sunsets!! Kayaks, canoe are available. And we enjoyed the firepit next by the camp. Everthing was perfect!! We got clear direction to get there. Easy check in with Jacky who took her time to go through everything with us. There are a lot of beautiful hike in the area. It is a nice location, more central if you want to visit the north and the south of east Maine area. Thanks Jackie!! we will be back for sure!"

"The cabin was spotless and just as promised, nestled in the woods, surrounded by water and wildlife. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal, the beds were really comfortable, and the window views were lovely. The perfect escape. We will definitely stay here again!"
