10/10 Excellent

"We really liked this hotel. The room is spacious and clean. The only thing (which we let the front desk know about when we left) is that the safe in our room didn’t work. The only recommendation we would suggest overall is this: since there is no cleaning service unless you stay for 2 nights, why not install another towel rack in the spacious bathroom so that 2 people can dry their towels for second-day use? There is only one towel bar that can fit the bill. Yet there is plenty of space in the master bath to have another towel rack. A simple thing, but would go a long way to encourage the use of towels for more than one day."

"Location is excellent for a weekend visit. Just a short walk to literally dozens of top restaurants or bars. Very helpful staff to get you started in the right direction. The Carousel Bar at the hotel is a must see. Great for people watching and to have a nice drink and relax for a spell. We had a lovely time. Highly recommended."

"The property could use renovation. The public bathroom door was dirty and sticky. Also, the little store in the hotel is extremely expensive. There is no restaurant and the breakfast was subpar. They only give you two bottle bottles of water for your entire stay. I was there for a week. They also only clean the room rooms every other day. The bathroom products are nice. The hotel itself is located on the edge of the French Quarter and so you will have to walk a bit to get anywhere, but it is quiet so that was pretty nice. The hotel seemed secure and safe. The staff was very nice. I think the place is overpriced and the bar was overpriced too. I am unlikely to stay at this hotel again, but I wouldn’t dissuade others from giving it a try. It was just not exactly what I hoped for."
