It's been a few days in this beautiful country and I feel a month will never be enough to explore it - a lifetime will never be enough, in fact...I love the colour contrasts especially at dawn and dusk - i find myself fixated on a point snapping away one photo after another - and yet no photograph will ever capture this country's beauty adequately! Why does Switzerland not partner with Australia to grant Working Holiday Visas again?! ;) We're off to explore Margaret River and watch some surfing action before heading over to Esperance - there is simply not enough time to explore more of Western Australia. I drove past this rock many times while in Albany until I realised the resemblance it had to a dogs head. Apparently this a natural rock that has NOT been carved and has a strong appearance of a dogs head looking up at the sky.

The rooms were great and very clean. Bed was so comfortable. Perfect location to beautiful beaches, cafes, bars and restaurants. Only slightish downfall was the noise from above room. We will be back soon.

Beautifully clean chalet. Had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. We loved being able to take our dog with us. And such a short distance to the beach meant beach walks twice a day which he absolutely loved. Thanks for making it a happy memorable stay. Highly recommend Emu Beach Chalets
