“Ruth was lovely and very prompt with answers to any questions we had. Large bedroom with very comfortable beds, separate lounge area and 2 bathrooms!Nice quiet location only minutes from the township. We had everything we needed and it was very clean.”

“Pros - Immaculately clean. Lovely room and grounds. Well equipped room with comfortable bed. Easy check in process. Cons - little far out of town. Needs sound proofing - could hear neighbours every sound-(foot steps, alarm clock, talking and jug boil)”

“Lovely self-contained unit. Wendy and Mark made us feel very welcome. Chocolate and vanilla slices on arrival were delicious! Our dog thought it was the best place we’d stayed with kelpies as the welcome committee.We’d definitely book again, if we’re in the Bendigo area.”

“In summary - quiet, rural, friendly. Beautifully decorated, comfy and warm room part of, but separate from, the main house. Lots of well behaved dogs, chooks, guinea fowl, cats to share the stay with. Bonus was the cooked breakfast! Axedale is on the rail bike trail and Bendigo has so much to offer!”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Honeysuckle Barn. Jennifer and Will were great hosts and the accommodation was excellent. The gardens are fantastic, and the whole location is so tranquil and relaxing, it’s a great place to unwind. We will be going back again!”
