First the hotel is not closed beaches and don’t has their own beaches or swimming pools. Second the domestic airline companies are so bad, this is not related to hotel but the hotels staff didn’t offer too much help either. Most of important things are, they don’t offer you four stars service but they will charge you four stars hotel standard. In our case, they charged us last minute before go to airport since my 11 years daughter put a little bit nail glue on the table ( one dollar coin size) . Funny part is they charged me transportation fee and service fee which I was told one of hotel staff did all wood work when we checked in. They even charged extra fee for emergency repairs even this accident happened two days ago before we leave. Really be careful if you checked in. We traveled everywhere and this is first time happened to us.

Dear Tina Yuan,good evening form Naxos Island!We would like to thank you a lot for your nice review.This a nice way to say thank you for the free breaksfast that you had with your family during your early check in and also for the free drinks that your kids got during your stay.Reading this review give us the push to answer.First of all,the beach is only 100m from the property.There is no where something written about a pool.Apart from that we gave you free access in out partners hotel next to us but you forgot that you did it!Secondly,we tried to help you with searching your tickets.We called 20 times the 1rst day and 10 times the 2nd day but the numbers from the company you gave us did not answer and we informed everyday for that.RECEPTION IS NOT A TICKET OFFICE!So do not blame the hotel about the flight connection etc.Last but no least,knowing that everything is handmade you have to be careful and respect it double!Doing some wood work in our selves does not mean that we have to close the Hotel and fix the damage in the table that you made.In that emergency cases any damage have to be repaired until the next guest arrive.Finally,i will remind you what you said during the check out after paying the damage:''My kids do not deserve that hotel''.and after 15minutes you wrote this review.Sorry not normal at all.Thanks again for visiting us!

Absolutely amazing stay! This is a lovely family run business with a cute resident cat. The room is clean, updated, and modern. Breakfast is included in the stay and is made to order, delicious and changes each day. The location is excellent - away from the hustle and bustle of the port. Also, steps away from Plaka beach and near cute restaurants and bars! The manager, Marios, goes above and beyond! He truly made our stay special with recommendations for things to do across the entire island. We cannot wait to go back!

The location and service at this hotel made for a wonderful, intimate experience. Our host, Marios, was so helpful and hospitable, he made sure all our needs were catered to and he gave us some excellent recommendations for things to do on the island.

Outstanding location, extremely hospitable front office staff, and an excellent owner-manager Mr. Marios. Cannot say enough positives about this place and its management. Marios, Marcos and the staff at Island Escape were awesome, we had a great stay, it truly was a relaxing escape in a beautiful area of Naxos, and was a great jumping off spot to explore the rest of the island-definitely rent a car when staying on Naxos so you can enjoy what the island has to offer!

Wir hatten einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt in Naxos Island Escape. All die positiven Bewertungen kann ich nur bestätigen. Sehr saubere und schön eingerichtete Zimmer. Mann merkt, dass mit viele zum Detail dekoriert wurden. Marios ist ein sehr gute Gastgeber! Das selbstgemachte Frühstück wird jeden morgen frisch zubereitet. Sehr lecker und vielfältig. Ich kann das Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen.

I hardly ever write reviews, but this is a special occasion for special establishment. Of the 5 properties we stayed at in Greece over 2 weeks, this was our favorite by far. Not even close! All of the reviews on here summarize what I could say, but if you are looking at this hotel, just book it. Marios and the team here and the most incredible and kind people and hosts. They take care of every need and ask, offer amazing recommendations, and are just a joy to talk to after a long day with drinks. We will be telling everyone that we know to come here, because this hotel deserves all the praise. We hope to come back one day ourselves. Thank you again Marios and Marcos and the team at Naxos Island Escape, you all are the best!

Naxos Island Escape
Great stay at Island Escape. Situated in Plaka a few steps away from the beach and a 16 mins drive from Naxos Port. We loved every minute of our stay. Breakfast was fresh and healthy and our host was so helpful and nice.

Our stay here was a highlight of our trip! The room was beautiful, the location was peaceful and quiet, and there were several excellent restaurants in walking distance. Marios was very helpful as well; and went above and beyond to make our stay special and memorable! Truly a spectacular place.

The exceptional rating is frankly misleading. The hotel is at the very end of not very developed strip. There is an ok breakfast at the hotel, but no other food whatsoever! The closest supermarket or restaurant is ~1 km away on the dusty gravel road with no shade! In 35 C walking this is not pleasant. You must have a car to be able to do anything. The staff/manager are nice and trying to be helpful. He helped us renting a car. This was life altering. The rooms themselves are highly inconvenient. There is practically no storage for anything. Be careful not to get into the basement rooms. there is barely any day light there. The beach itself is really very nice and not very crowded. But is is not well equipped at all. Bottom line: underdeveloped everything. If you are into this sort of stuff - go for it. Otherwise, there are better options.

Marios was amazing. He simply went above and beyond to ensure all of our needs were met. The breakfast was top notch and the facilities were new and very clean. The beach is only about a one minute walk. Very private and a short drive to the city centre.

Great stay!
Really great experience here with Marios (hotel manager) and family. Newer facilities with every comfort you need. Beautiful rooms with hand crafted details! Marios really went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay here, and he is really knowledgeable about the island, etc so he gave good recommendations for a quad rental, walkable restaurants and must see spots on the island. 100% would stay here again.

In my most honest opinion, this has been by far the best place we have stayed at. I was beyond pleased with how clean and attentive the staff was. Marios made us feel at home. We will definitely visit Naxos again and stay here.

Dear Jason Camoratta,why you do not put your name in your review?We have already reported your behavior to our partners. Obviously you have your reasons and you feel better with writing bad reviews for the property not only here but in lots of sites. These reviews exist if the hotels do not give a refund to the guest in case of an early check out without a serious reason. Guests have to understand and respect that the Hotels have policies & rules. Of course Island Escape can be flexible in some occasions but not for Mr Cammoratta who through the keys of the Suite on the floor and left without checking out.Apart from that he threatened the Hotel management for a bad review in case of a no refund. Finally,we feel lucky because there are some couples who really enjoy staying at Island Escape and respect the hard work we have done here!

Our stay at the Naxos Island Escape was wonderful, not only because of the beauty of the property, but also the warmth of the staff. Mario did not hesitate to sit and talk with us, offer us homemade food and drinks, and discuss travel plans. Everything about this property is impeccable and it’s on Plaka, near many good restaurants.

Amazing Service
Things you need to know, the property is a 3 minute walk to a very very quiet part of the beach. As there is no food at the property apart from breakfast you will have to walk 10/15 minutes to the better restaurants(along a dusty sandy road). The standard “suites” are not really big enough for a family with 2 small children, it will be cramped so go for a bigger room. Now for the good, it’s is amazingly clean and the owner/ manager Marios is so nice and will do anything to make your stay perfect you can forgive the shortfalls. He takes the place to another level he made us feel so welcome and could not do enough for us. The breakfast is great quality and huge it is also a little different everyday. We had a great time thanks to Marios and Eletheria

Without a doubt, this is our favorite place we stayed during our time in Greece. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Mario ( owner/general manager). He is extremely friendly, and helped us with our luggages to our suite. Every morning, breakfast is well prepared and served on our balcony overlooking the beach ( you’ll have a choice if you want your breakfast serve at the rooftop). They use fresh ingredients daily with variety of selections. We stayed here for 5 nights. The villa is only a minute walk to the beach. Mario also helped us arrange for our rental car that was actually brought to our villa ( didn’t need to pick it up at the town) Note, this is not a hotel or so, but a very nice villa, the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to us. All respect for the general manager who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality! Date of stay: October 12-17 2019.

The best hotel on Naxos.
This hotel is absolutely amazing. The young guy who owns this hotel is very attentive and tells you everything you need to know about the island. He even goes the extra mile to write down amazing restaurants and tells you all the good spots to see. The place is in amazing condition and VERY clean. Breakfast is served daily and is delicious. Wish we could have stayed there longer.

The location is excellent in a quite corner of the main beach in Naxos away from the humdrum. If you want a relaxing holiday Naxos Island Escape is the one for you. Good connectivity by bus to Naxos town for shopping and night out.

Excellent service and beautiful property. The owner, Marios, must work 24 hours a day to made his guests happy. He helped us book a last minute car, launder our clothe, and gave us suggestions on places to visit and eat every. Wonderful breakfast customized to his guests. I have a few suggestions including placing instructions in the rooms on using window sensors and the AC. Also add a drying rack to the sunken rooms. Overall we had a wonderful stay!

Great stay, 100% recommended
The hotel is in great condition, close to some great beaches and very secluded, which makes it perfect for a stay in Naxos. The town is just 10 minutes away and theres plenty to do around the island. Breakfast was great and so was our host!
