“The bed was not great and the bathroom was not up to the standards of this chain. The staff were exceptionally good, worthy of any high end establishment. Breakfast was cheap and not on par with the standards of this chain.”

“We stayed here one year ago and all was good but on this trip we were given a room with a foul odor that smelled like wet carpet. The towels and wash cloths still looked dirty and the TV didn’t work. Thankfully there was other rooms available and the staff was more than helpful to give us another room. The only other issue was that the breakfast was not good at all and food that should have been kept warm was cold. We probably will not be back to this location again.”

“This is a WONDERFUL resort! It's in a wonderful setting, near a fun town, and the staff is great. Newman's restaurant, part of the resort, is the best restaurant I've had the privilege of enjoying in several years. A bit pricey, but worth the price. My standard for 5 stars is generally Four Seasons hotels and resorts. If Four Seasons operated a very small boutique inn, this would be it.”

“Everything was great. Our family had a great stay. The one aspect that gave us pause was there’s a barn/sliding door for the bathroom. Having a door that closed would have been preferable. =0)”

“The room was clean. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was very well stocked very clean. The pet area was well maintained and easily accessible. The breakfast was well stocked and had two attendants to make sure things were cleaned up and well stocked. Breakfast was very good. All the staff was very friendly.”

“Bad breakfast. Out of coffee regularly. Ice macine broken. People were smoking in building- wouldn't stay there again for that reason alone”

“The room was very clean, bathroom was modern, the staff was warm and friendly. We enjoyed the live music, evening social hour with drinks and snacks. The location was excellent, and within walking distance to Main Street restaurants and shops. Overall, it was a good stay. I would not hesitate to rebook, if I am in the area in the future.”

“We did not enjoy the outside room as there were trucks with no mufflers leaving and returning at all hours during our stay. It was a very busy and noisy location. The breakfast was excellent.”

“A bit dated, but overall clean. A bit of finess cleaning wouldn’t hurt….baseboards and floor tile edges….. I’m picking a bit. Parking great, breakfast just ok”

“The building is 100 years old. So part of the stay is experiencing the age and history of the building. The staff was friendly and helpful. Some rooms come with breakfast and some do not. Ours did not which suited us. There is a nice porch with rocking chairs where we enjoyed some refreshments in the evening. The tv in our room wss small, but we did not go to watch tv. We had a good time.”

“Quiet, peaceful place, our deck felt like we were in a treehouse. Outstanding hosts, cabin was cozy but plenty of room for the two of us. Definitely a do-again.”
