「Everything was perfect, from the quaintness of the cabin to the communication with the host! It was exactly as described, and we came prepared! The only thing that didn’t go as planned was the hot plate, we couldn’t get our water to boil for some mac&cheese, but we had a backup! Our puppies loved paddling around in the water, and the scenery was to die for!」

「There is a delapatated, abandoned house on this property that is intentionally left out of photos. There is a narrow, unlevel path from the driveway down to the lakefront site that makes you cross over an ustable "bridge" made of house siding, and some uneven cinderblocks as "steps". You must traverse this to unolad gear and any time you access the honey bucket. The honey bucket is not cleaned before you arrive, but theres a cleaning fee for each day you stay. There are horsetail weeds...

「The apartment is well-supplied and pleasantly furnished. The heating system is very slow-acting. Fortunately they supply a plug-in electric heater to heat up the bedroom (or wherever you are) more quickly. Even though it feels so remote, it's not a long drive to North Bend or Snoqualmie Falls. We enjoyed visiting both」

「Two cabins on property. The photos they advertise are of the main cabin. Basically zero communication had to figure which one was my cabin on my own. Still a cute place to stay, just needs clear communication and show the second cabin or give option to choose which one.」

Access to nature, location, amenities, communication, nice touches (the fresh flowers in 2 rooms were a first for us as regular and long-standing VRBO renters), and more. From the front, yes you are across the street from a shopping center which feels a little, ahem, less than ideal. But...it's on the river with great community-use picnic chairs. The cabin itself, beyond its impeccably detailed design and appointments is situated on a lake that simply transports you to some other place and time--timeless really.
